| I thought I'd reviewed this latest installment and only realised tonight that I made a mental note which was later... misplaced. So! My goodness, I was hoping for Viktor and there was Viktor - poor thing, though. I was hoping he'd confess, and logically I knew that Hermione would be more likely to reject him, but I felt very sorry for him. I'd have been keen to see Severus's reaction to a relationship between the two of them (although, given some things he's said, he may believe they're already in a relationship...). I was also glad for some further detail on Hermione's Voldemort plan - I'd been wondering how this spell was going to work, exactly. Is she still planning to work with Severus for it? I wondered if their argument had put an end to any cooperation they might have forged, but I guess they've resolved other arguments in the past. Looking forward to the next chapter. Roll on Thursday! |

| I was afraid we were going to be hearing that from Viktor at some point. He's been so wonderful and gentleman-like. I never thought I'd write this on this archive, but I feel like it's such a shame that Hermione's in love with Severus. He's doing NOTHING right, and now her heart's not free to accept the guy who is. Sigh. Wondering what Draco went to talk to Pansy about...excited for tomorrow's update! |

| Ooh! Thank you for posting! I'm still railing inside about how much of a jerk Severus is being and feeling for Viktor's disappointment. I very much enjoy how real your conversations and characters feel. |

| I do like your story, and will continue to read it... however, I'm slightly concerned over how Hermione is turning into a Mary-Sue and that this fic is more of a Hermione fic and not SS/HG.
Even if Severus and Hermione are not together, you should be able to feel more of him in the story, and should be more of a influence on Hermione than he appears to be.
The way this is turning out, I can only see Severus swooping in to "save the day" if something goes wrong with the wards, and them not having a very fulfilling relationship at all. In fact, its almost an abusive relationship how they both hit out at each other... both physically and emotionally injuring the other.
I'm sure you've probably got something up your sleeve, but right now, I'm really not seeing how they could possibly have a healthy relationship at all. |

| Wow... I was only away for a week and got three updates at once when I got back - it seems I should go on vacation more often :D Two great chapters, although I'm missing more Severus-Hermione interaction. But I know I wouldn't like the story as much as I do if there was more of their interaction because I'd miss the suspense. I expected the scene with Victor and it was very well carried out. I really felt sorry for both of them. What I didn't expect, though was one of the werewolves to be a spy for Voldemort - that was excellent! However, I didn't find the scene as powerful as I think it should be. I don't mean to criticize, but I reckon reviews should mention the good AND the not-so-good points in order to be of help to the author. I hope you don't mind, because the story and the new chapters are marvelous otherwise! Keep it up! |

| There was a slight continuity error in this chapter: Hermione was rather concerned about how Severus had condemned her for the werewolf's death, when he'd done nothing of the kind. In fact, after Draco told him what happened, he said nothing further at all. |
