Reviews for The Problem with Purity

This chapter was absolutely incandescent. It was so beyond beautiful that I don' t think I can adequately describe it to you. Or tell you precisely how it made me feel to read it. But it did. It made me feel. I think I was grinning just as widely as Lupin. Hell, I came perilously close to tears. You are beautiful. Thank you for sharing around the pretty. ~Mia

Author's Response: *beams* Thank you such much for the beautiful praise; I'm delighted that you enjoyed the chapter so much. Thanks, as always, for the review. ^_^

How thrilling! For a number of reasons of course, primarily because I have plans tomorrow and was hoping that it would be posted before I had to leave for them. Imagine my surprise when I find that you've updated early! Woohoo, Remus is cured. Oh and let's not forget Draco. I laughed and cried throughout nearly the whole chapter. I am incredibly excited that Hermione has reached succes and glad that Severus seemed to be hurt by being excluded from her cure. Not because he's jealous of her, but because he's hurt that she didn't feel she could discuss it with him. When is he going to get off his high horse and tell her how he feels? It makes sense that he was punished for the whole cure thing, Voldemort probably feels that he's much to blame for not knowing of the cure and for teaching Hermione. Perhaps it is finally time, since she is her to help him, for them to both admit their attractions? It is unfortunate that you can't answer my questions and I have to learn patience. I'm 26 years old and still haven't mastered it very well, but I guess I have little choice. You write an amazing story and I'm constantly thinking about all the interesting dynamics. Thank you as always for such a fantastic read! You're the best! Until next Thursday (or Wednesday night if I'm lucky again)!

Author's Response: LOL Well, that works out quite well that the chapter got to you in good time, then, doesn't it? Being a validated author has worked out quite nicely for me and my readers. :D I'm glad that you enjoyed the chapter so much. Severus and Hermione are both very stubborn people, and they each have their reasons for being worried about risking their hearts. I'm glad that you enjoyed the chapter so much and that you're often ruminating about my fic. Patience, sadly, will continue to be necessary. ;) Thanks, as always, for the review. ^_^

I am so glad that Hermione's cure works! While that--and the entire chapter--was excellent, for me the best part was Severus' & Hermione's dialog. You did a really fine job delineating their feelings while they were talking on their way to and in the greenhouse. Excellent!

Author's Response: I'm happy to hear that you took particular pleasure out of the Hermione/Severus discussion; they can be very tough to write sometimes. Thanks, as always, for the review. ^_^

What a great chapter! I love it when Severus gets a tiny bit jealous. And a blushing Snape! Perfect!

Author's Response: LOL Then you should be quite happy all the time. ;) I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter, and I appreciate that you took the time to review again. ^_^

I think one of the things I like best about this story is how easy it is for me to 'read' Severus' thoughts as Hermione continues to be oblivious to his affection for her. I *knew* as soon as Remus mentioned dancing what Severus' next misunderstanding would be and was almost disappointed that Hermione didn't get to laugh in his face at the idea, although you handled it quite tidily. I think he finally grasped that his hope was not entirely based on fantasy in this chapter and will be looking forward to the next...on Thursday of this week?

Author's Response: LOL Yes, as readers who are *not* as emotionally invested as poor Hermione (and who are reading on Ashwinder, lol), it is entirely possible to 'read' Severus's thoughts a lot of the time. For once, Severus *doesn't* grasp the wrong end of the stick when it comes to Hermione and some other man; with the experience that Severus has had with werewolves, I think he actually understands (as well as a non-werewolf can, anyway) exactly what Remus is feeling now, and so he knows that there doesn't have to be anything romantic in this particular dancing. As to hope and what may come next, I will leave you to see.... Thanks for taking the time to review again. ^_^

Great chapter - I'm so happy for Remus, after all his years of suffering. Of course, Severus reacted just as expected - he really can be a prat at times. But now he's being made to pay from the looks of things, and it's going to be a long wait to find out what happened to him.

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it; writing the happy moment for Remus was a joyful moment for me as well. Severus being a prat is, as you say, to be anticipated, but he can come round in the end. Thanks, as always, for the review. ^_^

God, I love it when you update on Wednesday night ^___^

Author's Response: LOL Glad you're enjoying it; being a validated author has worked quite well in terms of being able to get the chapter out to everyone a bit earlier. ^_^
