| This chapter was even better. I love how you portray Draco and Hermione and I especially love Severus. The french made me smile of course (I live in Québec, I've always been able to speak both languages) It took me so long to read the chapter but it was worth the wait, it's the first I think I did getting back on internet after almost a week. I sincerely can't wait for the next one! I really feel like I'm in the story when I read it. Keep it up you're doing an awesome job! | As always, I loved it. I seem to remember that Harry and Hermione's blood samples wouldn't reflect correctly anyway because of something she did. I just can't recall what, so I'm completely lucky, I get to re-read the story. Yay!!! Have fun on your vacation. I can't wait until the 22nd (I think it's the 21st for me)... I completely agree with Hermione's decision to not tell about Malfoy. It will put her in his favor. I think it's a good thing that he's come up to "chat". I don't think it's any more than that. He's in her debt... A life debt perhaps? I don't know since it's not a guarantee he would die in Azkaban, but he would have most likely been killed by Voldemort. Hmmm, food for thought. Can't wait to read the next chapter. By the way, do you already have it all written or do you write one chapter per week? Author's Response: I'm glad that you enjoyed the chapter. And you've probably re-read by now, but you're right, Hermione Glamoured her and Harry's blood back before Scrimgeour tried to test it; she's not about to let the Glamour fail so long as there's anything that a test could find in her and Harry's blood. The fic is already written, and I've edited it straight through once (took a *long* time), but each week, I read the new chapter through twice more for final coherency/plot holes/typos, etc. Thanks again for taking the time to review ^_^ | |||

And I refuse to give my readers spoilers (that takes all the fun out of reading!) but we're ... getting a bit closer now.... | Can we hope that all that Veritaserum will mess up the blood samples for Voldy? Author's Response: Fortunately, Hermione's already got it taken care of with the Glamour that she started using for the two of them back before Scrimgeour tried to test their blood. | Ballsy move, letting a student use an Unforgiveable in school to obtain that blood. Here's hoping that VM mucks up the testing of it! I wonder if HG's blood will look off anyway, because of her animagus status? Thanks for a great, tense, chock-full update! Author's Response: In my head, at least, Voldemort didn't outright say, "Use an Unforgivable". But he *did* say the equivalent of, "Get the blood or else," and having just come out of the duel with Hermione, Draco is suddenly faced with starting a fight with someone who he knows can block almost anything he can send at her. So he doesn't feel he has any choice. Hermione's still got her and Harry's blood Glamoured (from back before Scrimgeour tried to test it the first time), so the two of them are all right. | I like that Hermione took the high road but I wonder what will happen with the blood testing. My goodness Snape is a prat though Author's Response: Severus is almost *always* a prat. :D Hermione's a high road sort of person, most of the time, and especially given that she knows how Harry feels about Draco, I think she'd be willing to offer him a fair few chances. Hermione and Harry's blood is still Glamoured from back before Scrimgeour tried to test it the first time, so the two of them are okay. Thanks again for taking the time to review ^_^ | |||
