| I'm on tenterhooks. I like Fawkes's name for Draco though. Nice harshness from Snape as well, his reaction is definitely coming out of a sense of lack of trust from Hermione.
I forgot that today was Thursday and hence this story would be updated but now I will be counting down the days until next Thursday. | AAAHHHH!!!!! EVIL CLIFFIE!!! EVIL!!! Gotta say, Severus giving her detention for the rest of term is just such a.... well Snape thing to do! lol And its also a great way for him to be able to keep her close! So Slytherin! lol I really like the relationship building between Lupin and Draco. Its nice for them to have someone to lean on. Cant wait to see the look on Severus' face when he finds out just what Hermione has been up to. Some how I dont think he's going to be too thrilled. Great chapter! Once again, EVIL cliffie! | The story is moving along quite nicely.. I do hope Hermione isn't sentencing her children's children to detention before the end of term :) It's so nice to have regular updates - can't wait for the next one! | It's me again. Possibly the last time for a while, but hopefully not. I'm trying to work out a deal with my Internet carrier. So we shall see.
I think that the 5 month detention was just to scare Hermione. Severus was obviously (in my opinion) asking a hypathetical question, in his Slytherin way (sneaking devil). I did enjoy all the details regarding the test, but I don't feel like we got much information. I really hope that their Animagus transformations work. So far all seems to be going well.

Author's Response: *crosses fingers and prays to the internet gods* Hope you can get something worked out for the internet; I'd hate to leave you hanging with so much of the story still to go (though the e-mail offer still stands). You will see more on the detentions next chapter (really hoping you get to see the next chapter). I've been trying to give enough details with the Weresbane testing that the reader knows what's going on but doesn't feel as though there was an appalling info-dump; there's still more to come as they go through more of the cure.
