| Wow, amazing plot. I was in one of those paradise locations in the Carribean last week and the only thing that was not perfect was missing your story on Thursday.
Unlike other readers, I hope that you will not rush too soon into resolving all this angst you created now between Sev and Mione. It is so much fun and there is so much potential for interesting interactions between those two in the future chapters. Will Hermione still help Sev when Voldemort gets mad because the Pure Adults disapeared from under his nose and tortures him ? Or will she send Dumbeldore to provide him some physical contact just to piss him off (he, he) :))))
I usually get bored when H&S get together too soon in a story and stop reading even if the story continues for several more chapters. Fantastic work ! Author's Response: I'm glad to hear that your paradise location was mostly perfect; I hope you were doing many fun things down there. :) I won't comment upon what's coming up for Hermione and Severus since I hate to spoil my readers. (Though the notion of Hermione sending Albus to comfort Severus *is* a pleasing one, lol.) There's still a lot of fic to go, so you can make what inferences you wish. | Just started reading your fic and it's definitely one of my all time favourites. So well written, with perfect characterisation and nice depth. I'm relieved that Hermione has shown herself to be a bit stupid and vulnerable and not so perfect in this chapter. But oh the angst, I can't wait til the next chapter! Author's Response: I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying the fic so much. I've always thought of Hermione (as you've probably gathered by now) as being as perfect as can be in a great many things; she compulsively amasses knowledge, and she usually learns from her mistakes. There are therefore lots of things she gets very right. When it comes to sex/romance (or attempts at the same), she's a novice, and that's where the vulnerability shows much more clearly. You are a good writer and I hope to see more of you, eventhough you said you would probably not post any more fics, I hope you don't take up on it and leave this your only fic. I enjoyed reading it. I like to think I'll be writing forever; at the moment, though, apart from editing TPWP, I've been in the Torchwood/Doctor Who fandom pretty exclusively, which is why there might not be anything more huge and sweeping for HP. | I don't know where to start. Perhaps, with saying this was one of the best chapters, ever. Period. I'm not sure I was expecting everything that happened, but, you led it down an exceptionally well done path. Everything flowed perfectly. The personalities, you've got everything down *perfectly*. That has got to be, wow, just, wow. This story is so amazingly crafted. Wow. Thank you so much for sharing! I look forward to Thursdays so much now, but I've been trying to hold off until around the weekend so I've got less a wait. But. Ah. Amazing. Excellent. I really really really want to see how this progresses. Are Harry and Draco going to realize what happened with Hermione? I can't wait to see how that plays out. Severus was such a jerk, but, like someone else commented, you've got down all the reasons for his actions, so perfectly. They are hinted at and infered the whole way through. Ah. Perfectly crafted!! | Perfect execution of this chapter. I don't think I could have imagined it better had I tried.
Severus' characterization is perfect. You have an unbelievable understanding of his psyche. Maybe I am reading too much into it, but imagining the evening from his perspective it would be a lot of angst about how much he likes her but how wrong he feels dallying around with a student and then of course all his insecurities about his looks and so forth. Knowing him he's probably convinced himself that she's only asked him because he was convenient and his morning after reaction was him just being spiteful (which is very like Severus afterall).
Hermione is also absolutely amazing. Her restraint and maturity and absolutely coherence when faced with such a horrible situation makes me admire her. (And also firmly believe more women should be like her)
Amazing job as usual! I look forward to Thursdays more than ever now and I hope that there will be more sexing in the future because now that they both have tasted the forbidden fruit they should indulge!!! Hehehe!

| NUGH! *banging head on desk* Have I mentioned how much I need to stay away from this Fic? GAH! It's very engrossing, and Jackass Severus is so utterly spot-on, and I look forward to the next chapter the way I look forward to HBO shows.
It's probably for the best that Hermione is walking around a little despondent-- lends a little more credence to the story that she and Harry were dating. I can't imagine that Castina or Fawkes will interfere, but wouldn't that be interesting if a big shiny unicorn waltzed onto the Hogwarts lawn and bit Snape?
When will Harry and Draco notice? Probably not until someone shows up sqawking that the Pure Adults are no longer an issue... So what happens when they turn to Hermione and ask, "who's the lucky guy?" and she doesn't talk? Or they figure it out and Severus is still the biggest jerk in jolly ol' England?
I did go back to chapter 1 (to re-read in a pathetic attempt to get rid of the enamel-wearing impatience that always seems to plague me after every update) only to *finally* notice the warning, it's completed, yay! (Nothing worse than an amazing, abandoned fic) and then my jaw dropped: 600,000 words?
But we're only at 222,670 words right now! Thats another 377,330 words! We're not even half-way through?!
I don't suppose you'd like to take pity on us (I can't imagine I'm alone) and post two chapters a week instead of just the one? My dentist begs you to consider it! Author's Response: LOL I'm delighted that you find my fic so engrossing (and hope that you haven't sustained any serious cranial injuries, lol). And it would indeed be very pleasing if Castina showed up and bit Severus--though I suppose that would still qualify as touching a non-virgin and therefore be rather painful for her. But then, she'd probably still think it was worth it. :D Complete the fic is and with many more words to go; you don't have to worry about the fic being abandoned. If my readers are willing to support me so that I can quite my job, I could get two chapters out per week instead of just one. Assuming that's unlikely to happen, I apologize to your teeth and jaw.
