| Severus is a bastard. Total and complete heartless bastard. Grr. You are not making me sympathize with him, even knowing how he actually feels about her. 'Twould serve him right if he almost kills her.

| Sweetie, Loved the chapter, well, except the minor terribly HUGE cliffhanger!! Glad that we hopefully won't have to wait long for its resolution (THANK YOU!!). I sincerely hope real life gets back under control for you soon. And you do have your awesome consistency record to back you up - if you need to take time to focus on RL, i can be patient. Really, I can! Plus, it will just be a huge celebration for when you do return. However, I do appreciate that it looks like we will still get the bonus chapter for Harry's B-day. You truly spoil us rotten!! All the more reason why we can be cool while you sort out the RL situation. Love the story! and wish you the best of luck with work. |

| I'm sorry that you are having a rough time with real life. Your consistency is to be admired and take care of yourself first. Okay. Because I'm a bit of a nerd, I've calculated the work count thus far. And if you consistently put about approximately 10,000 words per chapter, we are looking at possibly 26 more chapters. And believe me, calculating that helped me put things into perspective. (Then again, I've never been all that great at maths, so I won't be surprised if I'm wrong.) Okay. Brilliant post. Snape's behavior is definitely off-putting. I don't know what to make of it. And if the words she wasn't expecting to hear aren't "I'm sorry" from Snape; I'm done with Snape. Seriously done with him. Will still continue to read the story. Will still continue to love your plot. But, I'll be done with him if he is not apologizing. I'm not saying he has to be be all sweet and lovey dovey, I just want two words. I'm sorry. |

| Thank you for your consistent posting. I hope your work situation eases up! This was a great chapter and the serious situations were quite unexpected to me! I'm glad though - Harry and Hermione are so much more mature and more powerful in this story than they are in the originals, so this chapter really fits into all of that. And I have to say... that was the most beautifully awful cliffhanger ever! I can't wait for the next time you are able to update. Thanks again! |

| Whoa. I think I called it. That just goes to show how great your pacing is, doesn't it? I'm horrified by Severus, of course, but my reaction to the events of the transformation test/Roger's betrayal was not quite as negative as one might hope. In fact, I think I was quite pleased throughout. That's probably hubris, though, pride in my own ability to predict a change in the story's tone, and not any sort of comment on my feelings about spies, lies, or suicide. I'm dreadfully sorry to hear about the complications in your personal life (though, again, a bit more for me than for you. Whoa. I am way too honest.) but I'm pleased that you don't intend to abandon your readers. Because I know I'd be sad if I couldn't see Severus being a royal git at least once a week. |
