| I know! I know! It's Harry Potter's birthday tomorrow! I shan't be leaving my computer until then. I am hoping that SS was banking on HG being ready for whatever he threw at her (given that she blocked an unforgivable it's a fair enough assumption.) I also hope that he is under orders to behave like a scumbag rather than it being of his own volition. I do like the line about pathetic fallacy not being in operation. I really pitied Hermione in this chapter, I hope she gets some well deserved happiness soon. Sorry for the brevity of this review, I have a sick baby on my hands at the moment! Thanks for another lovely chapter. |

| Near-Futur? Good gods woman you are spoiling us rotten! What about real life? I'm glad to see that Hermione appears a bit more... well, human (not wanting to descriminate :p). And, by the way, that is the MOST AWEFUL cliffie I feel you have left us with! I know I'm hoping for it to go a certain way when the next chapter comes up but I also know I can't expect anything too hard because whatever I'm thinking you just make it even better. When I opened this page and saw the title ''The attempt'' I was litt. staring, thinking 'Oh please let it work oh please let it work', hoping that there wasn't going to be a mishap with the transformation. As the story goes along, I keep wondering (and sometimes forgetting, it being so good and having Draco and Harry together already) how in the world will you manage to get Hermione and Severus together!? You're making me think way too much, trying to find possibilities. Anyhow. I loved this chapter. It went by too fast for me but I think I may just never be satisfied. When this is all done you'll find me re-reading the whole thing and ahh-ing about the fact that everything does come together perfectly. I'm afraid I'm suffering from Reviewer's Guilt. I still can't grasp the fact that my last review was.. lame. Anyhow, Right now I'm just going to re-read the chapter and still end with the feelings that I'd like to slap a few them silly! |

| As addicted as I am I never thought I would say this...deal with RL we can be patient if we need to. If you need to negelect us reviewers for a few weeks please do...anything to make life easier for you. On another note..Love Love Love this chapter. Everything was going way to smoothly...Roger definately changed that. I had been waiting for Hermione to have a breakdown for chapters now...Figures it would be Severus to trigger it by using that curse...does he ever learn? I hope the boys take him to task for being so harsh after she almost had her throat slit. I really want them to throw that in his face...bet then he would break down some. Okay back to my RL...hope yours calms down soon. Hugs and Kisses..Keep up the good work! |

| Please tell me that the near future means next thursday - unless you really can't post then. It was a fabulous chapter as per usual, but it was definatley the most suspenseful cliffie you've had for ages, which, while great, means that I really need to read the rest. I love the story and the plot development so far. Please don't make sev soppy or confessional - I don't think i could stand it at this point. xoxo |

| What a cliffhanger? What is Hermione about to hear? Is Severus going to do something uncharacteristic? Can Harry and Draco and Ron restrain themselves? Or be restrained by Hermione? And how can I possibly wait a week to find out?

| A great chapter, as per usual! I'm glad danger raised its ugly head in the safehouse, I was beginning to feel as bored as Ron :P And I love this story for its cliffhangers, there wasn't really one at the end of the last chapter, and I was a bit disappointed. I love them at the ends of book chapters- a little incentive to keep reading... except I have to wait for a week with this :( But oh, yes, I recall every time I read that you like to be notified of any grammar problems or other issues. I never find much more than a little typo on occasion, but I thought I'd report this: "...I'm going to be warding you in there with me, Ron, Draco, Harry, and Remus. The four of us..." Shouldn't that be "five of us?" Unless my tired brain is missing something very essential to that sentence... I feel bad for hoping that Hermione's hurt :( But maybe Snape will learn to let up. |

| So Voldemort strikes again. Nicely handled by Hermione, trust Ron to be the one to get his ass handed to him.
I really liked Hermione changing everyone's clothes at the end, now that is a practical piece of magic.
I hope RL goes ok for you this week and would like to thank you for your dedication in getting this story updated like clockwork each week. |
