| Ah, I was right, this wait was almost unbearable! I kept signing on all week and then remembering that it wasn't Thursday or late Wednesday night. Not sure what else there is to say, the hidden books have lots of promise and I'm glad Draco knows that Severus is the one, it takes a Slytherin to catch a Slytherin. Author's Response: It was a shock to Hermione as well. ;) Severus can indeed be a great big ass. There will, of course, be more on the hidden books. | Thank you so much for the update! I am absolutely not in the slide to forgive Severus, don't think I will any time soon and I would prefer it if Hermione kept her spine a while longer too. I just loved the image of Hermione telling Severus that he better use the killing curse the next time! I will not be surprised if he is the one throwing curses at Hermione here at the end of the chapter; it must smart him terribly to be bested by the girl he thougth he had stolen all the power from by having sex with her. Not to mention hurting his Death Eater/Slytherin pride by her being the one who can stand by her head held high while he looks more like a scumbag for everytime he draws his breath. If it is him, once again showing him self like a coward by hiding in the hallways and throwing curses at Hermione, please make him pay dearly for that mistake and never ever let Hermione forgive and/or forget what kind of creep he is!!! Author's Response: LOL I didn't really think you'd be ready to forgive Severus. I'm glad you enjoyed Hermione's moments of "spine". I will leave you to read the next chapter to see who has attacked her. Severus wasn't under the misapprehension that he'd stolen power from her, though; he knew he was going to get stronger, but he was well aware that she'd get stronger, too; plus, he can't have missed that she nearly flattened him when he threw her out. | Oh, Harry...I do love his character in this story. He stands by Hermione's side, even if it means kicking out his lover. And it is just too much fun to watch Hermione and Draco play the "Let's Make Harry Blush" game. :) The new section of the library intrigues me; just who is Hermione Granger really? Snape and Hermione obviously still have some issues, but it looks like they may be on the slow road to working them out. And of course, the cliffie was just as evil as I'd come to expect from this story. And I love it. :D I can't tell you how much this story improved my day; I got some very ominous news earlier, and have been off-kilter since. But now I'm feeling much better...You know what would be even better? An early post! Only joking (sort of). lol I still wish this site had a system like the one in This is Spinal Tap, but I guess a 10 will do. Thanks for another great chapter. ~SK824~ Author's Response: *beams* I'm glad you like my Harry so much; he's very enamoured of Draco, but I think the only way he can find to make the relationship work is to tell Draco when he's really wrong. They might be able to compromise on many things, but then there are the ones that are non-negotiable. It's hard to resist the "Let's Make Harry Blush" game 'cause he's just so darn adorable. ;) I'm glad you're intrigued by the new section in the library and have lots of questions about Hermione. Severus and Hermione do indeed have lots of issues to work on. I'm so pleased that the chapter improved your day; I hope the ominous news is fixable! | And in case you misunderstood the Friday the 13th comment, I meant to say that I've followed this story long enough to know you give us an extra chapter every Friday the 13th (there are three this year, and two have already passed). So instead of haranguing you on why Thursdays can't come soon enough, I thought complaining on why it can't be Friday the 13th more often would at least be a fresher diatribe :D (and maybe, just maybe, you'll listen to this one) Author's Response: LOL I got it. :D If you can make more Friday the 13ths, I'll give you more chapters. ;) Thanks again. ^_^ | |||

| So I read this chapter earlier in the bus (9:30pm) when I was supposed to be doing a research proposal that was due 11:59pm my time. Of course, I ended up finishing this first, and my research proposal was 20 minutes late. Don't worry, it was worth it!
I mean a Crucio from Severus! It's such a shame this isn't written from his point of view, because I would have really loved to have his intense girly angst expressed in words (and by girly I mean melodramatic). Wouldn't that be something?
You're doing a right job of having them express things without saying much anyway (I see a glimpse of Severus and Hermione making up after each eyebrow lift Severus does after a fight ^_^), so don't mind me.
You know what would be better than it being next Thursday right now?
A Friday the 13th... damn, it actually fell on a Saturday this June!
