| Oh my Goodness!! I've been gone so long and when I came back I had all these wonderful chapters to fulfill my need!! Really amazing work! Your Severus is just one of the greatest ones I've read in a HG/SS so far! And to top it all off there's more french words in the very last chapter I read! Did you miss me and my awefully long reviews? Haha. Everything is so structured, which I love in a piece of fiction. Your characters have depth and Harry is just so adorable. I think you're portraying Dumbledore also exactly the way I like him to be portrayed in these kind of stories. I'd love to see more of Pansy (and Fawkes, you know I love him) and I can't wait for more Hermione/Severus to happen! I coouldn't believe what a tart he was after that night. Ugh. And when you mentioned that unicorns mated for life. Wouldn't he know that? O__O How would he feel if he did. O__O I'm so anxious for tomorrow! Oh and by the by, BONNE st-jean, si tu fêtes ca! I wanted to review all the chapters as I read them but I was way too excited I'm so sorry ^^;; Anyhow can't wait for the next one. (See, even reading more than one at the time doesn't satisfy me) (8)All this aggravation ain't satisfactioning me(8) You are a goddess with words :) Author's Response: I am delighted that you and your long reviews are back. :D And I'm very pleased that you're enjoying the other characters and especially Severus so much; I know he drives many people bonkers, but he's definitely my attempt to be canon-compliant--while allowing for the possibility of an eventual relationship with Hermione. Severus always has his reasons for acting the way he does; whether or not they're good reasons (or will ever be revealed to others) is another matter. ;) When it comes to information about unicorns, keep in mind that 1) Hermione knows a lot more about unicorns than most other people do and 2) Severus's knowledge about *Hermione* and the unicorns in perhaps not as advanced as you're imagining. I'm glad you're looking forward to what's coming up next. I do not celebrate St-Jean, but we have been exchanging best wishes at work. | Ah, once again... great. Seeing Severus again, in a somewhat civil setting was nice, I can't wait to see more and more interaction between the two. You've really done a great job at understanding your characters- the whole setup with the Slytherins is very well done. Can't wait for more- and to see who grabbed her arm! :) Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter so much. Severus's civility comes and goes. ;) But he will certainly never be forgotten. :D It's lovely to hear that you think my understanding of the characters is so developed; the mass dismissal of the Slytherins is one of the things that upset me most about DH, so I'm always determined in my fics to give them more credit than that. | I enjoy this story very much :) ... I am wondering why Hermione can't transform - I am sure you will come up with a reason that may give us a whole new plotline :) ... And then you finish with another one of your evil cliffhangers :) .... Author's Response: I'm glad that you're still enjoying the fic (even with the evil cliffie, lol). | I very much appreciate how you take into consideration the difficult setting in which the Slysterhin seventh years are in. It’s a rather terrifying thought to have to fight against your own parents or relatives on a battlefield. ---
It’s nice to see something like a civil conversation with S. again. And Albus “not strongly encouraging” the Slytherins to fight? Only time will tell what that does really mean in Albusian language. ---
What’s all that about in Transfiguration class? Usually Harry and Hermione have the same extraordinary abilities. And now it’s only Harry? Apart from the embarrassment for Hermoine, and therefore showing her that she’s not always the one in control and thus making her a bit more careful, there must be another reason for that to happen. I wonder if H.’s magic works better because he’s really together with his mate, experiencing a lot of energising things. --- I am a little bit afraid at the moment for Hermione, because she's still not her normal self. I hope she has enough power to handle the one who's seizing her in the corridor. --- Thanks a lot for a great chap again.
Author's Response: The Slytherins being dismissed en masse in DH is one of the things that upsets me most about the book; I think a great deal more consideration should have been taken in dealing with them (both on Minerva's part and JKR's); I was determined to bring a little more compassion into the fray when dealing with them in my fic because, as you say, they are caught in a very horrible situation. Albus has his own special language. ;) More will be coming up on the problems with the transfigurations. Thanks for taking the time to leave another review. ^_^ | |||

| I have enjoyed this story since you first started writing and it continues to get better and better. However, it is frustrating that you still will not give Hermione and Severus their time together. While I am enjoying the Harry/Draco storyline it would be nice if the relationship I am reading this story for would be a bit more prominent. Besides that your story is wonderful and I look forward to Thursday every week :-) Author's Response: I'm glad that you're still enjoying the fic. I completely understand your frustrations with the sometimes glacial progress on the Hermione/Severus front, but they are so much more complicated than Harry and Draco that it's going to be that progress is simply bound to be slower. It will always be omnipresent on Hermione's mind--it's always been the driving force behind the fic as far as I'm concerned--but sometimes there are lighter concentrations of their relationship and sometimes they're heavier. | I'm like a drug addict with this story. Need more, more! What kind of block could Hermione have. I would love to bribe you as well but I'm not sure what you would want. Reviews for every chapter, every wizard candy known, a brand new wand? Probably you could name your terms if only we could have more chapters sooner. I will take what I can get though, and gratefully! Thanks for a lovely update. | Thanks for the new chapter! I'm glad at least Pansy is switching and Snape isn't being such a turd. Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. I hate the notion that all the Slyths are evil (even barring Draco, depending on the fic), so I try to bring a little more dimension to them.
