| Yea! Finally Hermione is getting some sex. I love Severus hexing her mousse, I only wish it was an embarrassing visible hex. I know I'm glad that they won't only be "brewing" in their relationship but I still retain my hope for Severus to assist with the last batch of Weresbane. | |||

| ::gushes:: So first, I have to let you know that I've had a truely awful day, but now I can't stop grinning. Cause this is the happiest chapter ever. Well, I can imagine an all out love confessions chapter that might be a bit happier, but not by much. Since, you know, a confession would really just be, at this point, a confirmation. Cause of all the joy. And singing and dancing. Oh, wait, that's just me. Okay, so I noticed a while back (a real long while) that Severus seems to be able to see Hermione even when she's Masked. I thought I might have been imagining things, since it was only a passing mention, like, twice... but third time's the not-a-coincidence. I'm thinking a mates type side effect. I hope it is. It would make for a nice segue. Into the whole mates issue. And then they could finish the whole confessions thing and get married and stuff. (a note on how far gone the angst is: that doesn't actually seem unlikely. I mean, the subject's already sorta been broached. But I also doubt it... unless I shouldn't. Should I? Should..? gah). It's a nice detail, though. So I don't think I've every commented on this, but I love your secondary characters. In particular Pansy and Tonks. I love your characterizations of both of them. They're so true to canon form only with a few added layers of depth. Pansy's journey is a really remarkable one all on it's own... and perceptive Tonks? My absolute fave. Cause I feel like she was set up to be a lot more than she ended up being in the books. Not that she's particularly in this chapter, it's just something I've thought of and always forgotten to say. Is it weird that, excited as I am about these developments, I really want them to start doing other things together, too? Like working on (or hell just talking about) the Weresbane and practicing with the wards (cause she's still gonna need his help, right? right? It's so cute if she does) but I guess it's just the mark of a good narrative structure. I mean, what would be the point of reading if there was nothing else to be accomplished, nowhere else to go? You keep us hooked, is what I'm saying. A lot of authors... just sorta peter out after the lovelorn couple gets together. Here there's room for progress. Bitch of a tease, too, btw (which is of course my favorite kind). Hermione has a plan... when does Hermione not have a plan? Of course, her plans are always pretty exciting, so I'm looking forward to it. As per usual. Surprisingly enough, I celebrated Thanksgiving three weeks ago. But that's more a my-family-is-way-too-busy-on-(either)-actual-Thanksgiving-to-celebrate-it-then than a cultural thing. It was still fun. And made me want Christmas... Enjoy your holiday and eat a lot of delicious vegitarian food! | |||

I've just been sitting here grinning and, though you did warn us that you'd be busy (Happy Thanksgiving, btw), refreshing the page with the wild hope that a right-pointing arrow would show up so I could dip into the next chapter.
