| Very good, it seems Severus is at least getting the idea that he can't (and shouldn't try to) control Hermione, one would hope. One would also hope that the actions to be explained next week will be Severus', and not Hermione's, as it's his actions that are causing the problem, and he has a lot of explaining to do. I'm sure, of course, he doesn't see it that way. ;-)
I'm not sure if you're familiar with the series, but animals who are humans who are traveling through the forest together immediately reminded me of some Animorphs books I used to read as a child. :-) Anyway, always happy to see this story updated, thanks! |

| So Severus threatens to kill Hermione, but when she returns thinks he is owed an apology for her truancy and wants to punish her for missing class? Just when I think the man can't get more abominable he does!!! And I can't wait for the next chapter - this is addictive! |

| Awesome, awesome, awesome! I expected Snape to be a huge jerk upon her return, so it was a pleasant surprise to find him acting like the grown-up that he is. I wonder what will happen when Hermione attends potions...? |
