| Happy birthday to Silver Birch's mum - and thank you for the bonus chapter! StarryEyedNoOne's review made me giggle, and I was with crazzdpixi getting a bit worried over your RL... but this instalment was my favourite yet! The sex in the last chapter was all to the good, but I couldn't help feeling unresolved, as Severus hadn't really let his guard down with her emotionally... when he knelt down beside her in gentle reassurance this week, I actually nearly cried, it was so adorable. I really do love that he's started to be braver in pulling her back when she's upset, admitting that he's hurt her and didn't mean to, and the way in which both are learning the need for communication even when it's the last thing they feel like doing. It's very emotionally satisfying :) I have to say it again. Thank you for this story, for faithfully updating it every week, and giving us the odd early treat as well. I don't know how you do it, but I'm so glad you do! | |||

| Thank you for the bonus chapter, even though it was for your mother! What an interesting present - "Happy birthday mom! Here's a story about a first blowjob!" Hahahahaha. I would probably die, but it's very cool that you have that kind of relationship. I love how in love these two characters are, and how stubborn your Hermione is! She seems much more realistic than the overly-kind, perfectly understanding characterizations of her that I often read. And your Severus is also so in character it amazes me. Wonderful, thank you for being so consistent with the updates! Do you have the chapters written well in advance? Just curious. | |||

| Hooray! I'm glad that the dely was intentional and there was nothing wrong in RL: I was close to getting worried. As for the chapter, oh hooray. Yay for communication. Especially communication that seems to open the door for more communication, for more... openess and reliance on each other in their relationship. I think they're getting parilously close to admitting that they both can't live without the other. I'm glad Severus has figured out that they need to put an end to the storming out. Someone needed to. Hopefully they can get to having-a-real-relationship without many more hiccups. Hopefully. I'm torn between thinking Hermione needs to be less pessimistic about their relationship (they hadn't had a fight yet) and understanding her need to guard her heart. I think she's still misreading him a lot (I mean, maybe he did want her to ignore the Weresbane, but I think part of it might have been wanting to help...) but not as badly as she used to. I'm glad. Let's stay happy for the rest of the week. If not forever. ps, I'm breaking my no-fanfiction-on-public-computers rule for you. Cause mine has the blue screen of death, but I can't miss this. | WHoo Hoo! I can't tell you how obsessivly I have been wainting for my next fix... er... the next chapter. I am thoughly enjoying the story. The hot/cold relationship seems quite realistic for two people with so little experience with relationships. Hell, my husband and I still misunderstand and take our bad moods out on eachother and we've been together for years. And is it safe to assume that by "around next Thusday" you mean tomorrow... | |||

| I seem to have been off a day all week long -- but this was the first time I was really excited that someone else was too! Another (very) enjoyable chapter...I know that some have made comments about the hot/cold relationship, but I have found it to be engaging. And indicative of two people in what is essentially their first 'grown-up' relationship. No matter how much someone is outstanding in their own field, learning to 'read' another's mode of communication, knowing when and where things are appropriate, and learning how to work things out are not always easy. I certainly remember when I was in that situation...and I don't have anywhere near the circumstances or the drama of upcoming battle. It took a while, and when one adds in the difference in the partners' standing and relationship to each other in their non-love-life situation, I am happy to see they are becoming more comfortable with being themselves and working toward finding a middle ground. Thank you for the chapter! P.S. When will Hermione let Severus know the details of the Weresbaine? | |||
