| So excellent! As soon as I was finished, I went back and reread the SS/HG portion, because I love the way that you write their interaction. Congrats on the Validated Status, that's brilliant! Can't wait to see more from you, and I think that I'll go read "The Girl Who Fell From the Sky," just to satisfy that SS/HG interaction craving that you satisfy so well. Absolutely can't wait for next Thursday, but am letting you know... you totally made my week!!! Author's Response: Hermione's life is too complicated for her to focus solely on Severus (though she would like to, lol), and it's sometimes a challenge to give adequate "screen time" to all the necessary bits of the story. | Draco and Harry are adorable! And poor Hermione, helping them get together but not being able to be with the one she wants.. sigh.. hopefully she and Sev will get together soon.. | Awe wow! My day has been so crappy, but this nearly made up for it all! I literally squeaked when I saw that this fic had been updated a day early, and I was so relieved that Hermione's conversation with Severus went well, not to mention Harry's good fortune. Congratulations on receiving the status of Validated Author btw! Author's Response: LOL I'm sorry your day sucked, but I'm pleased that my fic was able to help improve it. | I haven't reviewed this story before, and that's a crying shame, because I was enthralled by the end of the first paragraph. This is simply wonderful, and such a blessing, coming as it does shortly after the end of MiaMadwyn's Care of Magical Creatures. They're very different stories, and yet equally engrossing. Thanks for writing! Author's Response: I appreciate that you took the time to review now; it's always lovely to hear from a new reviewer. | Well, whew! *The* conversation sure went a heck of a lot better than I'd been fearing. And it was certainly worth being up at midnight reading all about it, too! When it came to Severus and this conversation, what he really wanted were answers; he's had a few days to calm down and to realize that yelling at Hermione is a good way not to get them. | I always look for this story near the top of the list, and go straight to it whenever it appears. Your Draco is becoming quite appealing, without being too fluffy. And the resolution scene between Severus and Hermione was beautifully written, and the subtext was implicit in a very real way. Roll on, next Thursday! Author's Response: I'm glad that you're continuing to keep an eye out for my fic. :D Draco can be written in many different ways, of course, and I tried to find a balance between one who isn't unrecognizable from canon but can believable be interested in Harry and have Harry interested in him in a truly committed way. Severus and Hermione have to have good moments somewhere. ;) Thanks for taking the time to review again. ^_^ | |||
