| Holy smokes, I blew through this in four days. While there were times I wanted to hex this Snape for too being too quick to retreat, it was dead IC. There are so many beautiful and thoughtful turns to the plot -- I wondered where it was going to go after the Pure Adult plot seemed to wrap up, and I was delighted by the direction it took and so, so satisfied to see all the balls caught at the end. It was also wonderful to see how you developed as a writer over the course of the story. This is a tour de force of the form, Silver Birch -- which I am sure you already know, but I need to say it again. Damn, this was just excellent. Thank you. |
