| Ya- finally, they talk civilly. BUT....I still find it hard to believe that nothing's been said about the curses! I mean come on! He tried to hurt her....is that going to come up at all?

| Before I happily married (21 years, next month!), I was involved with an impossibly moody man. Unlike Hermione, I couldn't wait for his enlightenment. I'd just like to say to all the nay-sayers that it IS possible for an intelligent woman to have an unreasonable amount of patience with a man who may (or may not) deserve it. Severus obviously gave this whole matter a lot of thought before he finally insisted they talk. She was right to tell him the truth, and right to hold some things back for a while. Myself, I found it entirely believable for Hermione to cut him the slack. For one thing, she DID insist on setting forth some conditions before she'd allow herself to get into things--and he DID make concessions. But beyond that, she was simply tired of the status quo being MISERY. She needed to hit the 'reset' button on how they were getting along, for her own mental health. You don't have to tell me how 'wrong it was for a woman as intelligent as she is to settle', etc., etc. Hermione already knows. She was simply tired of being at her wits' ends, mentally and emotionally with him. (I will have nothing but rude things to say if you throw us--including Hermione--all collectively back into the ducking pond, however!) Still, like Hermione, I'm VERY GRATEFUL(!!) for this relief. (Please, oh please oh pleeeeeeeze don't emotionally destroy us again.....) |

| Ahhhh! I really enjoyed this chapter. You handled the reconciliation so well, i loved it!
Also: ""Goodnight, Hermione." His voice was positively velvety, in the turn-her-into-a-pile-of-mush sort of way."

| Side review: If, say, we get an extra review for Hermione's birthday, Christmas, and Snape's birthday, his birthday will be the final chapter. Aw. (But you can post more than that, I really do hate the weekly thing!) |

| i cant tell you how many times i laughed during this.at one ineligant point i had sprite come out my nose,though i will deny that should anyone ask.the moose bit was wonderful! i loved it ! and it is about time they reconsiled! anyway much love to the auther and story i cant wait for more |

very nice, very nice...now if only Severus would explain why he was such a dick before...like before she rescued him...though I suspect he was jealous...that would be a fun scene, him confessing jealousy and Hermione assuring him he never need to be jealous....oh please, let them at least maintain friendyships :) |

| Woop! Severus being reasonable! Only good things can come of this right? RIGHT? I hope you're not going to be mean and make him go all stupid again. I will be upset if you do. I don't mind if it takes a long slow while for them to build up to stuff but....PLEASE don't make things go backwards! :D Pretty please? |

| Yayayay! That chapter makes me so happy! I'm absolutely thrilled that the angst level has diminished so much. I was beginning to get worried. That was a fantastic chapter and you did such a lovely job patching things up. Though I know not everything from now on will be a bed of roses, things are definitely looking up. Wonderful! :) |
