| I wonder if Draco is struggling with his feelings for Harry or just being a pain in the rump? The flow of the chapter was incrediable and well written but once again I am desperately waiting to hear the conversation between Hermione and Severus. I wonder if the man has come to grips with his jealousy now? Is he going to be able to see what Hermione wants from him? I have so many questions. I will try to wait patiently.......it is so difficult though. Author's Response: LOL You will find out more about Draco's motivations in the next chapter--which means that the conversation between Hermione and Severus is still a little further away (since I am obviously evil and really making the Ashwinder folks suffer now). Remember, he's Severus and a Slytherin and stubborn and ... well, just don't expect any miracles. ;) Thanks for taking the time to review again. ^_^ | |||

| With each new chapter, I find something else that I like *most* about your writing; this time what I liked most was that you really deliver when you promise to deliver. It's satisfying. Last chapter the aspect I liked most was your ability to keep balance even while creating a high level of tension. Next chapter- well I wonder what I'll love most about your writing as a whole in the next chapter. Honestly, you're an excellent writer and an even better storyteller. I trust you implicitly while I'm reading- even when you do something unexpected or introduce a new plot thread, I just believe that it will make perfect sense eventually, and later I'll think to myself, "Of course!" On a side note, I still wonder what Hermione got Severus for his birthday. Also, like everyone else I await the conversation at "Friday, 9 o'clock," but I notice that isn't in your short summary of the next chapter. I cringe to think it might be in the chapter following the next! Great job! :) Author's Response: Thank you very much for such a lovely review. As a very anal sort of person, it's important to me to be reliable, and satisfying my readers (as opposed to always annoying them by making them wait, lol) is important to me. Writing something as long as this fic, it was an interesting exercise trying to bring everything together and make it work, so it's great to hear that it *does* work for you--or that you trust I'll make it work eventually. We finally have some Harry/Draco time (at least by extension), and I can't put *everything* in the same chapter. Apparently, I'm somewhat evil. Thanks for taking the time to review again. ^_^ | |||

| Oh my goodness! I am totally engrossed in this story! I've just re-read it to get ready for these last two chapters. Yay! Your writing is excellent, and the characters are very believable! | Another excellent chapter! I can't wait to find out how the conversation between Hermione and Draco goes, or, the conversation between Hermione & Severus. | I had to think it over but I think the part I liked the best would have to be your Dumbledore. I think he get's a bad rap because he is really a military general and he has a war to win and some times you don't have the luxury of doing what you should do. Sometime's your stuck doing what you must do! I think that is a good discription for Snape as well. Which is I think one reason why slytherins feel that griffindors are arrogant. Like griffindors walk around with there noses in the air taking the moral high ground to avoid making the hard choices.While they are left to do the dirty work and then they get snubbed for it I can see why slytherins would get sick of it and as a result respond with arrogance of there own. I spend a lot time thinking about people and what motivates them. Also I liked Hermiones responce she stood up for herself and layed down the law . I think if she had shown weakness it would have gone VERY differently. Author's Response: And that is why I like reviews; I get to see different opinions from different people. So now I've got people who just want to bash Albus over the head, and then I've got people who totally understand his motivation (and probably some who still want to bash him over the head, LOL). I'm actually very fond of Albus but as you say, he's got a war to win. I think part of growing up for Hermione and Harry was learning that there aren't always easy choices--although part of being them still includes having some beliefs that are unshakeable no matter what. So yes, you end up with some arrogant Slyths and arrogant Gryffs, but sometimes you get the ones who try a little harder and understand one another. After all that they've been through, there was no way that Hermione was going to let anyone walk all over her on this one. Thanks, as always, for taking the time to review. ^_^ | |||

| Albus is an utter, sodding bastard.
Looking forward to knowing what's up Draco's arse, what Severus is going to have to say, and oh, everything else :D Author's Response: Albus is ... a general in a war. For good or ill, defeating Voldemort is his number one priority. Sometimes that sucks for everyone. | loved it as always. great job. btw, will hermione still be able to transform when she will not be a pure adult any more? sorry if this has been adressed before. looking forward to next thursday! | Oh yes! Another wonderful, amazingly well-written chapter! Thrusday when you replied to my review with ''The next chapter is up'', the site had not yet made it available though you could look for reviews for it but couldn't read it! When Harry coughs 'follow the spiders' I just burst out laughing! Ohhh... I can't wait to see what Draco has to say and I was half-wishing that Severus had had more of an eruption with Hermione. I guess I will have to wait some more but guuhhh... Another week. I shall die. I'm serious! Sometimes, when I'm at work I think of all the scenes from this story and replay them in my head. Your words produce such clear imagery that I don't have any problem doing iso. I read a bit too fast again... I'm going to have to re-read when I come back from work. I hope you will continue on writing when this story is finally over! Anyhow, I hope you stay well and if you celebrate easter I hope you enjoy and if not, well I don't know if businesses are closed in the states but here yes so enjoy the vacation! There are so many bizarre and unique adventures in Harry and Hermione's past, it's a gread deal of fun to allude to them in ways that others may or may not understand. You will indeed get to see what Draco has to say, and there's *definitely* going to be more going on between Severus and Hermione--just not this instant. But it's coming. I'm delighted to hear that you get such clear images from my fic. Continuing to write is definitely something I can promise for the foreseeable future, although I'm actually in the Doctor Who/Torchwood fandom at the moment (and working on getting to some original stuff). Easter is indeed a holiday in Canada, but I work somewhere which is open 24/7, so I was in all over the break. Oh, well. Thanks, as always, for taking the time to review. ^_^ | |||
