I have now reread this story for the tird time I think and it still is a masterpiece. Your plot and charcters are uniqe, gems like this story is what keeps me reading HP fanfic, and honestly: I liked your ending much, much more than the original one:-))

Thank you for writing such an enjoyable story. It was well written, and the plot definitely unique.

I like the originality of the plot of your story, even if I have to say that it's too out of characters and maybe with little character depth. Even with your premise and introduction, Hermione is always too infallible, sometimes too presumpitious and quite insolent, not like tthe original Hermione. Also Severus is too childish, Albus, the greatest wizard, is absent, incompetent and useless and Minerva is the same. I like the original idea, but IMO there are too many inconsistencies. Anyhow it was your story, and enjoyable reading. Thank you for sharing.

I loved every minute of this story and am very sad to reach the end. Your grasp of the characters and talent for storytelling was spot-on and exactly what I needed. I especially enjoyed Hermione, who was a perfect combination of her usual strength of character, yet still possessed of a vulnerability that is to be expected, considering what she was going through at various points. Her extraordinary accomplishments (curing lycanthropy, being a unicorn, heir of Slytherin, etc.) could have been ridiculous in the hands of a less skillful author, but you made it all exciting and plausible in the context of the story. I cried like a sop while reading "The Aftermath" and got a little emotional when I deduced that Hermione wore Castina's tail hair in her hair for the wedding. I also appreciated the ending, which not only came full circle with Stebbins, but also ended with the characters having their whole lives ahead of them rather than outlining their lives up until death. For some reason those endings always make me feel incredibly sad. Maybe it's just me though. This ending felt natural and happy. We have some idea of Severus and Hermione's future, but also can enjoy the luxury of imagining many more adventures before she settles into taking the headmistress position. It feels like a new beginning, rather than detailing their end. I could gush forever about this story, but I'll just end it with this: Thank you so much for gifting us with a remarkable story that I've been honored to live within for the last three days. Thank you for being true to the characters, giving us a wonderful example of strength and love in Hermione, and building anticipation of Hermione and Severus finally making it work. You never once took the easy way out, which made this story feel very plot rich and full. I truly hope you consider writing professionally!

I thought I was at ashwinder right from the beginning yet I cannot believe I missed this first-rate piece of work! It made me miss more hours and occupied my mind relentlessly. This story deserves more than this review and made me ask my God why homosexuality is abhorrent. I got back that because he is God, even beans on toast can be a sin if that was how God wished to see it so but I love my farts! Not as much as I love God but still...

This is the first review I have ever written on ashwinder, but I just have to tell you that this is by far the most touching fanfic (if not written text over all) that I have read, ever! I've been laughing, crying, angry, and so many other emotions have just been swirling around in my head while reading. I've been awake for way too long in the nights reading (which, when you have a 2-year old is not a good idea, I promise) because I just couldn't stop. Love love love love love it! Going to read it again, but right now I need a small break I think :P Fondest greetings from Johanna, Umeå, Sweden

Hermione is a far better, kinder person than I, and more trusting than I am by a very far longshot.
