| I'm finding it very difficult to convey my elation with this chapter. The moment we've been waiting for for so long! And it's made all the better because it was posted on my birthday; I must admit that it was the best present I got. I'm so glad to see Severus and Hermione starting to iron their problems out and express their feelings to one another. Thank you for such a lovely chapter! |

| (Warning: uncharacteristic fangirl squee ahead) Squeeeeee! I actually read this update for the first time (I just finished my second go round) this morning while sitting in my towel and telling myself that I really should get ready for work. I didn't have time to review then, but now, I do. Can I just say breathe a sigh of relief and shout, "AT LAST!" At last they've finally had an honest discussion about That Night, and how Hermione really feels about him. I have to say, I was feeling a bit hopeless in regards to these two ever getting their act together, but it's nice to have my hopes restored. Also, I loved the way they talked about the concessions they'll have to make for one another in the future, as if their being together was a forgone conclusion. At this point, it certainly feels that way, and that, dear author, is a lovely feeling. All in all, very well done! I'm anxious to see what's next. Hooray for Thursdays! |

| Now he's gone and done it - he actually listened to Hermione, thought about her words, had some epiphany *and* acted on it! That's more than wonderful and I can't stop grinning madly :-))) The mousse-thing felt to me like a subtle backhanded not-quite-apology with a little "please talk to me again" sprinkled on top, very classy. And served in a crystal flute to boot... Thank you, thank you, thank you that you had Severus make some efforts and that you put those two on a really promising track. Imagine how Lord Thingy's butt will be kicked, now that Hermione and Severus can really combine their forces instead of just being on the same side... |
