POOR SEVERUS!!! After all he has been through, he now knows what it feels like to lose his mate. poor poor man. I hope we can make him feel better in the next chapter....by making Hermione "ay ok"
I loved how he proposed too :) just so many good things in this chapter! And I'm dying to know who else survived.....and who didn't :/

| WOW! That was amazing. The back-and-forth, with Hermione watching the battle through the wards, monitoring Harry and her own magic, was gripping. My heart is still not back to its normal rhythm, and I had to stop and log in to leave this review. Just WOW!
The proposal was particularly lovely, too, a bit overshadowed by what came after. I should have guessed that Severus had put off telling her he loved her for a reason. And I enjoyed the Malfoy's arrival and Narcissa's gratitude, and also the cured werewolves.
But I'm worried about Castina. After all, she owes Hermione a life debt; I only hope she survives its payment. And Ron. I'm really afraid for Ron, although the older, sexy, formerly-werewolf Auror may just be too perfect a pairing for you to pass up.

| I feel highly panicked and extremely shaky after that. The thoughht of waiting an entire week seems abhorent. I'm quite glad that I don't actually know you because I would be highly tempted to hunt you down and reenact a scene from Misery. This is terrible and horrifying and startlingly beauutiful.
