| Incredible update (per usual) and a lovely bonus chapter. I'm glad to see Snape getting a bit of what's coming to him. While I appreciate Hermione's very level-headed and "High Road" responses to Snape's continuing git-ishness, every once in a while you just want to see him get bitch slapped. I'd love to see some sort of verbal setting down between the two of them; he sorely needs it. Again, this was excellent, as always, and I can't wait for Thursday! Author's Response: In this case Hermione is less rational than she wants to be, but since she is not, in fact, a machine, we *do* need to see her break down sometimes. They would be much better off if they had an actual discussion, but it's the last thing that either of them thinks they can manage. | Imagine my surprise when i got back from a week vacation and had two chapters to read. I think my husband thinks i'm crazy but what can i say i am totally addicted and it only gets better and better. Please Please Please keep up the fabulous work. I can't wait for thursday. ps. i was glad to finally see Severus get his arse handed to him. Wonder if he will ever learn how to be on his best behavior. Author's Response: I'm glad you found a pleasant surprise in my chapters (even if your husband thinks you're crazy, lol). | It will be good for Hermione to have a woman to talk to about her situation with Severus. I loved watching Ron at breakfast. It was very funny. I was rather hoping to see a verbal exchange between Severus and Hermione, but I'm sure I'm just sooo anxious to know how this all plays out. Thank you for thoroughly teasing me... Your an awesome writer. Author's Response: Unfortunately, there's a world of difference between needing to talk and 1) admitting it and 2) doing it. They need to sit down and have a discussion. It's the last thing that either of them wants to do right now for a variety of reasons. I'm glad that you're enjoying the chapter and looking forward to what's coming up next. Great chapter as usual! You've completely brightened up an otherwise craptacular Monday. maybe you should move your chapter postings to Monday so that the whole week will look brighter for everyone :).
Heheh! So, are they EVER going to talk about it or is Severus going to assign her a mountain of detentions and deal with his sulky-ness that way.
He needs a teddy bear and to remove his head from his arse!!

I think Thursdays might revolt if I tried to move the update day now. ;) Hermione and Severus definitely need to talk about it, but given what happened between them, who they are, and how they think the other person is likely to react, why would they ever try? Severus doesn't exactly go out of his way to discuss *anything*, and Hermione is not terribly fond of that "detention forever" notion. ;) But Hermione *would* probably volunteer to be his teddy bear if he were advertising that as an option. ;) Thanks for taking the time to review again. ^_^ | |||

| This was one of my favorite chapters in a while. I really love the way you write powerful!Hermione and detail her magical explorations of wards, etc... I'm looking forward to getting back to the Slytherin plotline, especially to see how Pansy factors into the war.
