| This extra chapter topped of the most amazing weekend of my love and I thank you for your timing. (I got to touch Snape's actual robes and meet William Petersen! *fangirl sigh*) This was a great chapter but I still miss Snape! =( Glad the Viktor this is out of the way more. I thought Vector and her arithmancy were very interesting and I miss it. Thank you for the post and go get some rest! (for a few days at least) |

| Good chapter-thanks for the double helping. Well, that wasn't the declaration I was hoping for--although with the way Viktor has been acting around Hermione, I can't say I didn't see it coming at some point. She's blind not to have noticed his infatuation with her...
Now all she needs to make her day/night a complete hell is for Snape to find her sobbing on the Astronomy tower and penalize her. She ought to "let" him see past her occlumency shields to the reason why she's upset and why she turned Victor down--that would fix his wagon! |

| I am ashamed to say I forgot it was Harry's birthday on Friday, but what a wonderful surprise Saturday morning!! I saw the declaration coming, and I wonder how Severus will take however Viktor reacts. |

| What a surprise to come across an extra chap – many many thanks to you, you’re really incredible! How do you manage all that extra editing besides your RL??? --- Now to the chap: I think I’m not the only one who expected S. to say something similar like sorry after the Cutting Curse, not in so many words, but all the same. But it wasn’t to be. (BTW, loved how Draco stood up for her, and how Harry took care.) On the contrary, every time when there has been S. in the picture, I’ve thought: ‘Now we are at the bottom of things, and it will go uphill from here on’. But it has always become only worse and worse. I haven’t the foggiest how you’re going to mend their relationship. --- And now after the confession of Victor and her (wise) refusal to work out anything with him relationship-wise, the future seems so immensely bleak for her. You make me really feel sad for H., fictional as she is, and also for V. – I’ve been afraid for a while that he’s been falling in love with H. |

| For an SS/HG fic, there has been remarkably little interaction between them lately. SS shows up every other chapter, acts the churl, then disappears. When will something meaningful happen? |
