| I thought for sure that this chapter would include the discussion with Severus that I am so fervently looking forward to. But I find the anticipation for the next chapter is quite exciting and pleasant. If frustrating on some level too.
Seeing as how reviews make you smile, I thought I'd return the favor. I saw this update, and my face nearly split in two. And that was before I read your glorious chapter. You truly have an incredibly tangible depth within your storytelling abilities. I hate it when you read a story that is entertaining and well written, but you can feel that there is nothing solid to support it. This story feels secure to me. Wonderful beautiful thank you.

| Stunning chapter!! I'm really liking the new Draco. Wasn't expecting to see this till tomorrow so it made my evening :)
Can't wait for next week now though to see the H/S confrontation....

I'm glad you're enjoying Draco; I think that there's a lot going on with him that he couldn't show the Gryffs before and now he has the chance to let them see a lot more of him (and he hasn't had as many years of wall-building as Severus has). | Have I mentioned yet how much I love this story? And I usually don't care much for non-HET pairings, but I rather like Harry/Draco so far in this story. Speaking of Draco, I had to laugh hearing that he is a ferret animagus, LOL! I imagine he would find becoming a wolf animagus much more dignified. I have to admit, of all the things that could be behind Draco's initial behavior towards Harry, I hadn't imagined the reason being that Draco was infected with lycanthropy. Ironic that Draco seems to be taking over Ron's place as the third member of the Trio ... but I worry about what Ron's intense jealousy might lead him to do as Draco becomes closer with both Harry and Hermione. Finally, I can't wait to see what Severus has in store for Hermione for detention. Although I suspect a thorough interrogation will be part of it. Great update! :-) Author's Response: It is my lifelong mission to make my H/D readers like the Hr/S and my Hr/S readers like the H/D. :D It's always interesting to see how everyone responds, and I'm glad the H/D is working for you so far. The ferret Animagus was kind of irresistible (and sort of a homage to Vorabiza's Secrets, actually, where she had Lucius as a ferret Animagus). There's nothing likely to annoy Ron more than feeling he's lost out to Draco. The detention is upcoming. Thanks, as always, for the review. ^_^ | |||
