No way...Please do NOT tell me that Krum is spending time with Hermione in order to find out the secrets of the Weresbane to bring back to voldemort...Please tell me that's not it... Because that's what it seems like. Great chapter :D

Hi there, i've been reading your story since it only had 3 chapters but was too lazy to review :D just wanted to let you know that i'm enjoying it completely and have already re-read the existing chapters 4 or 5 times LOL

Author's Response: I'm pleased that you've taken the time to review now and let me know that you're enjoying my fic so much (and think it worthy of so much rereading. :D ) Thanks. ^_^

Great chapter once more. A lot of surprises :) There is something that I did not get though. Why did Hermione choose Severus help her with the wards during the battle ? Won't he be needed at Voldemort's side ? Isn't Albus more powerful and more knowledgeable about the castle's wards ? I know that she has a deeper connection on a sentimental level with him than with Albus, but logically I do not follow the choice. I hope that Hermione will explain more about her decision in the future chapters. And Severus was almost decent in his conversations ;) I am guessing that he might regret his earlier behaviours and treatment of Hermine but he is unsure of how to make things right again and does not believe that she would forgive him. Just a guess though. Can not wait to find out. I am at the edge of my seat every Wednesday night waiting for the update :))))

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. Hermione doesn't think a lot about her choice, actually, so I'll elaborate a little more here; Albus is indeed more knowledgeable about the wards than Severus is, but this is actually a moot point given how knowledgeable Hermione is (or will be by the time she's finished training/reading/what have you). It's not assisting like the two of them would be doing what Hermione describes; it's Hermione accessing the wards and someone else feeding her their power so that she can do it for longer than she would be able to do on her own. That sort of giving is a *very* intimate one and requires a strong compatibility between wizards; Severus is a much better match to her than Albus is. Physical proximity assists this process but is not necessarily integral to it; at least how Hermione has set up her plan, once Voldemort has been got to the final battle, there's no more need for subterfuge—and her preference is *definitely* that Severus gets over to her side rather than Voldemort's then. ;) Severus is decent from time to time, yes. ;) I'm glad you're looking forward to what's coming up next. Thanks for taking the time to review again. ^_^

Okay, I know that, given the number of chapters here, it's a little early to be reviewing, but I absolutely love this story, and all of the wonderful little author's notes thrown in. I'll post a much more extensive review when I get to the end of the posted chapters!

Author's Response: It's never too early to be reviewing, lol; authors are happy with every one that they get. :D I'm delighted that you're enjoying the fic (and notes, lol). Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. ^_^

Thanks a lot for this wonderful, highly fascinating extra long chap, with so much of Severus in it, even with somewhat decent, in a Snapeian way, conversations between the two. And hello to the new misunderstanding. Will they amount and amount until there’s a kind of explosion? --- Naturally, Hermione being Salazar’s great-multiple-XY-granddaughter, hidden in the female line, is the very best. --- The only thing I feel a little bit uneasy about is H.’s ability to cast spells without the other knowing about it regarding what they can talk about or not. On the other hand it’s very reassuring that this ultra-sensitive secret is safe from being blurted out.

Author's Response: I'm glad that you enjoyed the uber!chapter. :D Severus's (relatively) decent behaviour comes and goes depending on the circumstances. ;) I think the misunderstandings do indeed have a tendency to pile up higher and higher until there is some sort of spectacular explosion, yes. Certainly with the Hermione who is a Pure Adult in this fic (and I think it actually comes across in canon, though in milder ways), she has formidable abilities and uses them when she feels it necessary. The DA parchment is the precursor, of course, and it's just as much without anyone's awareness as this is. They all know that they're not *supposed* to talk about it, and if they do…. Hermione is a very Slytherin Gryffinder sometimes, I think. Thanks, as always, for the review. ^_^
