| Thank you (again!!) for a brilliant new chapter! After a weekend without internet, reading this chapter was the very first thing I did! I am looking forward to every friday night (time difference, sniff)! I really loved how Hermione put Albus into place! But I was actually secretly hoping for some H/S talk... Just know: This is my all-time favourite story and I totally and utterly adore it!! Author's Response: You're very welcome; it's very pleasing as an author to hear that you were so anxious to read what was coming next. You're not the only one to want the Hr/S talk, and I swear that it's coming--just not quite yet. We've got a Hr/D talk to get out of the way first. | Ah, the BIG reveal! Great chapter. When I read the line "...if a unicorn consented to carry someone, that person would not get off until the unicorn willed it," I thought immediately of the Lord of the Rings. Gandalf uses a very similar line when describing what it's like to ride Shadowfax, the uber-horse who is his friend and mount. Great imagry here too! Author's Response: I hadn't been thinking of LotR at the time, but I'm sure it permeates my consciousness given how many times I've reread it. You're right, that's very much a Gandalf and Shadowfax moment (and I always loved Shadowfax and Gandalf's "let me go out and make friends with the coollest horse in your kingdom). :D Very glad you enjoyed, and I appreciate that you took the time to review. ^_^ | |||

| A good chapter, felt a bit like filler though; I was hoping for more Severus/Hermione conversation. I don't mind because it'll be worth it in the end, and some important discussions occurred in this chapter to move the story on to the next stage. I'll look forward to the next one! Author's Response: Now that Draco has forcibly changed sides, there's finally the opportunity to do more with him; this was really a "catch Draco up and start putting *that* subplot in motion* chapter. *cough* As is the next chapter. *cough* But then the Hr/S. *smiles hopefully* Thanks, as always, for the review. ^_^ | |||

| I really love that Hermione told off Dumbledore for wanting her and Harry to lose their virginity.
And I can't wait for the developments in the relationships between Harry/Draco and Hermione/Severus Author's Response: Hermione has a very firm belief in herself and her plans; she really doesn't like the headmaster's plans interfering (just as the headmaster doesn't like the risk of *her* plans interfering with *his*, of course). | I've just gone through all seventeen chapters in one go - a task that found me reading straight through the night, until five a.m., at which point I decided sleep was a good idea. There aren't words to express how much I'm enjoying this story, but I'll go ahead and try to tell you anyway. :) Your dialogue is as witty and well-written as any of the longer descriptive bits, and the plot is astounding in its complexity and originality. I've been skirting around this story since you started posting in February mainly because I couldn't get over the hump of the Prologue (I had a similar issue with GoF), but am incredibly pleased that I put forth some actual effort yesterday evening and started it in earnest. It's excellent and masterful, and I can't wait for your next update! Author's Response: *beams* It's always lovely to hear from a reader who couldn't stop reading my fic. I stayed up until 4am to finish DH in one sitting, so I fully embrace the impulse. :D It's great to hear that you gave the fic a try despite the prologue; I'm one of the people who really enjoyed "The Riddle House" and "The Other Minister" which is no doubt why the prologue works for me here but doesn't suit everyone. I'm delighted that you find the dialogue, prose, and plot so enjoyable. Thank you very much for taking the time to review. ^_^ | |||

| Oooh, things are really getting interesting now! I hope Draco doesn't cause too much heart ache for Harry... and I can't wait to find out what his animagus form is! Author's Response: It definitely changes the dynamic having more people know the truth. You will be finding out more about Draco in the next chapter.
