| yeah, fantastic chapter again. Still, I think it's time for Severus and Hermione to come to terms, don't you think so, too? Severus seems so far away from any feelings for her in this chapter that I began to doubt that he is in love with her...
Thanks a lot for your regular and in-between up-dating :-)))) Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. It's hard for me to talk about what's going on with Severus without going more into his head than I'm willing to do (since I want everything to be revealed in fic). But let's see, what do I think I can safely say that is fic-related? Based on the comments made during and after the consummation, do you think that Severus is under the impression that Hermione is in love with him? I believe we can infer not without too much of a stretch. That being the case, does he seem to you the type of person who would reveal his feelings for her when he believes she does not care for him? Or would he go out of his way trying to make sure that it is clear to everyone that he does *not* care for her? The bonus is nearly here now. Thanks for taking the time to review again. ^_^ | |||

| Another wonderful chapter. Great training scene, I could really picture it! Oh and I got so mad at Severus' "Don't you dare!" Argh he's so infuriating. Can't wait for the next chapter! | A brilliaint chapter. I would love to have been a fly on the wall for Ron and Viktor's discussion; it must have been pretty harsh to get through Ron's thick skull. I wonder if you're going to have a role for Ron to play soon. On a side note, casting my mind back, I don't think the horcruxes feature in this story - are you leaving this bit of canon too (I don't think horcruxes are really dramatic enough for your story!). Then, on to Snape. What an idiot he's being! But, when I read the last few paragraphs, what I imagine happening after he says "Don't you dare" is: throwing up a privacy charm, telling her what a silly girl she is, telling her how the more people who know the less safe she is; how Voldemort would love to get his hands on a Pure Adult - virgin or not - for exploitation. At this point Hermione would grin, realising that Severus had her best interests at heart, and all would be right with the world. Unfortunately, my proposed reality is not to be :-( Severus has burnt one too many bridges today, and instead Hermione assumes he's meaning her harm, I assume she thinks he's embarrassed by his liaison with her and doesn't want Remus to know. Really looking forward to the next chapter. In some respects, I hope Hermione's magical outburst does Severus a little bit of damage, just to teach him a lesson! Keep up the brilliant writing. Author's Response: I'm delighted that you enjoyed the chapter so much. For the discussion with Viktor, I would say not just harsh but a different perspective. Ron's much more likely to tell his family to bugger off; he finds it a lot more difficult to say the same to his idol Viktor Krum. Since I'm only compliant to OotP, I am indeed ignoring the Horcruxes (at least partly because between DH and Vorabiza's Secrets I feel that it's been done and well and I'd rather go elsewhere). Severus is indeed being an idiot, a nice tradition that he has when he's emotionally compromised. (OMG, now I'm having Trek moments. Sorry.) Er. Emotionally ... emotionally... When he's emotional, dammit, and doesn't know how to handle it. (Oh, there are weird crossovers coming out of this.) I like your version of what happens next, lol, though I confess that a fair number of bridges have been burnt. Thanks for taking the time to leave such a lovely long review. ^_^ | |||

| Should someone tell Hermione her magic is showing?
You never fail to deliver an utterly captivating installment of The Problem with Purity. This chapter, as many do, have left me with more questions than answers. I am thrilled, however, that Ronald Weasley doesn't seem to be turning into an evil entity at this point. The characters continue to be completely believable. I absolutely love the dialogue between Harry and Hermione and Draco, but I especially love the way you write it...like I'm a fly on the wall...catching all of the non-verbal communication (the eyes, shifts in posture, throat-clearing, etc.) I laughed out loud at the "corners" exchange.
I so adore this story and am enjoying the read immensely. Thanks for taking the time to share it. Author's Response: LOL As far as the magic showing, I think they all got the message there at the end. ;) I'm delighted that you're continuing to find the fic captivating (including all those questions, lol). I am firmly of the belief that Ron can be a complete and utter prat--and extraordinarily stubbon--without being evil. ;) I'm glad that you're enjoying the dialogue and all the non-verbal clues. | Fan-freaking-tastic! I loved this chapter, especially Harry's line, "There are less corners outside." I was all quiet as I was reading and reached that part, and then I burst out in laughter.
