| OMG!!!!!!! AAAAHHHH!!! BRILLIANT chapter! I loved every bit of it, and now your cliffhanger is again causing me mental pain! LOL I was cracking up at Severus' dialog with the unicorns! LOL Never have I wished it was thursday so badly! | Where to start? It's hard to pick a single moment to praise, since this plot flows seamlessly, yet incorporates so many different lines! Curing Lupin, fighting Voldemort, becoming an Animagus, winning over Severus/Draco, dealing with the Ministry's idiocy. I don't understand how you can manage it, but I am grateful that you can.
This chapter was particularly riveting. I love your exposition and long dialogs, but this action-packed chapter was just as satisfying! And, of course, I love anything that puts Severus in direct contact with Hermione, since you characterize both of them so well.
The only problem I have is completely unrelated to your (beautiful, beautiful!) writing: I had to read this off of ff-net because Ashwinder hadn't updated yet. I know they don't auto-update, but could you maybe submit the Ashwinder version a little earlier so they update around the same time (I ask because ff-net is blocked where I usually have computer access)?
Also, KILLER CLIFF HANGER! I've come to expect one each chapter, but you've really outdone yourself this time! Author's Response: Thank you very much for such a lovely review. There are indeed a lot of plot threads floating around, and the fact that I'm dealing with all of them is how the fic ended up at 600K; it's reassuring to hear that you find it flows well. I'm glad that you enjoyed the chapter and the Severus/Hermione interaction; there is definitely more of that to come. Since the lovely Ashwinder admins are people rather than robots (as are the various authors who can put a fic in the queue at any point), it is very difficult for me to predict when the Ashwinder chapter will be posted. The only way I could be certain that ff.net and Ashwinder posted at the same time would be to hold onto the ff.net chapter until the Ashwinder one makes it through the queue, and I don't really want to do that to people. I usually get the Ashwinder chapter into the queue within about a six-hour window every week, and validating time has varied by as much as two days--but still remains well within the week they stipulate as possible in their guidelines, so I don't think we have anything to complain about. The cliff-hangers really seemed to breed in this fic; I swear there are actually some non-cliffies somewhere, but they're kind of hard to find at the moment. | I loved that chapter. I was so excited the Severus found out about them. I'm have a fangirl moment now and trying to contain my excitment at this chapter. Good job. | I have been addicted to this site for quite a few years and I have to say this story is one of most original plot lines I have ever read... It is also very well written, and flows very well between the mindspeech and verbal as well as the development of the characters and their personalities....you have an extremely good way of describing them.....I am extremely impressed and do I really have to wait to next thurs to see severus eat crow concerning his assumption about Hermione and Harry?????? :) Author's Response: Thank you very much; I'm pleased that you have found the fic to be so readable. Not that I want to endanger your health, LOL, but the Thursday posting is nigh on unalterable.
