| My guess, is that her patronus turns into the black panther that is Severus' animagus? Or could be a unicorn...who knows. A unicorn patronus in the shape of Castina perhaps? Who knows. Another amazing chapter, I don't know how you write such beautiful prose. Nor do I even try to think about how you managed over 200k words in just 18 days for NaNo...you and your stories, are truly awe-inspiring. The only thing I hate about these stories, is that every chapter that you post, makes the end of this story closer. | |||

| Hermione's potion NEWT seemed like it could have been for a higher certification. Her transformation into a tree is very spy-like for camouflage. Maybe by seeing the transformation Severus will be able to cry. I hope he gets to show off his animagus form to Lupin and Minerva. | |||

| Many many (belatedly) thanks for this extra chap. --- I always love it when Hermione gets one over DD. --- The talk between H&S about the wards was overdue. --- Severus is a mystery to me: I am astonished that he hasn’t yet understood what Hermione implies when she states once and again that he’s her mate. --- On another note, you convey quite well the state of nerves before a big exam. Hermione being her usual self helps also to make her, uh, quite normal. --- I am very curious to learn about the Potions practical. And Severus still didn’t say that he will help H. with the wards. Not in so many words, anyway. But as he isn’t that articulate regarding Hermione, that doesn’t probably mean anything … | |||

| Harry has alot of power,it's not always so focused he's really thinking to himself. Inner monologue anyone? That young man is no cheat! Well Thank-you for the gift on Friday the 13th. This is a Severus worthy of all the love,respect and affection that Hermoine has to offer. These two can literally change the world with their brains,critical and creative thinking. I'm REALLY enjoying how you have portrayed these two! ( Him not so much in the beginning...) I can't begin to say enough good things about this fic. | |||

| So, pretty much hooray. Because Hermione's all recognizing that Severus might have feelings for her. It's about time. And because he gave her his password. And because his password is ADORABLE. And because he continues to be a pretty awesome boyfriend. With the apologizing and the affection and the letting her study in his rooms and making sure she eats. And because hooray. I have to admit, though, the subject of late mates just became a bit confusing to me: I thought that if a unicorn's mate dies, it just... expires from dispair (or lack of eating or whatever) but is it a more proactive process? Literal suicide? The conversation between Castina and Hermione after the runnaway episode made me think it was an automatic thing, but now.... I don't know. I am glad, however, that I was finally right in one of my predictions: Severus being able to see her when she's masked is not a coincidence! Hoorah! I really think that's the first time I've been right about what I thought would happen here... and yet somehow I just predicted the end of the biggest plot twist in recent literature (The Double Bind, you should read it.) So basically, I should only be a TV detective, because I'm only good at extra twisty twists. Nonetheless, I love you for always being able to surprise me. And for writing this awesome peice of awesomeness. (On a related note, is your NaNoWriMo for this year sshg or something original?) <3 | |||
