| I was wrong. About the horse thing. A panther is so much more appropriate. And you're totally on about it making the transformation his. Plus, I mean, he's a cat. How cute is that? So, I love the whole scene when Hermione's in Severus's head. Seriously intimate. Vulnerable!Severus is poigniently sad, but unguarded!Severus is infinitely adorable. I wonder what it was he didn't want her to see... if it was something he's ashamed of or something about her. I'd like to think it wasn't the latter, because (even if he won't say it) he seems to have no problems showing her how he feels. Also, I wonder if they'll ever pursue the interesting implications of her being in his mind. (Which makes me wonder, can she control her own body when she's in someone else's?) "You smell like my mate." Best. Line. Ever. Wait. Their exams happen over two weeks? Is this canon and I just missed it, or is this your embelishment? It makes sense, once I thought for half a second, but it caught me by surprise. Wow, I can't really believe the N.E.W.T.s are next chapter. We're really getting close to the end... really. It's making me crazy sad. But also kinda happy, cause, hey, resolution... but still. Congrats on the nomination! I'll mos def vote for you. Because you rock. | Yay Severus' animagus form is awesome - I liked the way that you didn't make his first fee goes perfect. The fact that he also ended up sans clothing made him more humanlike. And finally Severus can do the mindspeak thingy - and that's been a long time coming! Bow I'm just going to go back to pushing the refresh button until the extra special update pops up ;) | |||

| Bournespeed was right: Caring Severus IS much more fun than Snarling Sev--not to mention more enjoyable to read! I am so glad you did make his animagus form a great big black leopard. The very thought of his large musculature, covered by that black velvet fur, so eminently strokable, cuddle-worthy...(gets far-off look in eyes, starts to drool...) Need I add: GREAT chapter?! | |||

| You know we all love this story and can't wait for updates. Glad they'll be one sooner than later. I do have one comment: Severus is taking this 'mate' business very well. It implies long term as well as not something he has controll over, both issues I'd assume he'd rebel over. Now he's used the term too...please explain! | |||
