| Internet break downs finally over (cross fingers) and being home from my holidays I'd like to say hello again: hopefully your RL is going back to normal, or even better- aka you will get some well earned free time. I've to admit that I'm very glad that I had the last three chaps to read in leisure one after the other – because I was utterly shocked about Severus' fury and the injury Hermione got by Castina. I wondered at once what DD-The-Big-Manipulator did tell resp. not tell him. Thoug bad as that all was, I think it has done her some good to spend some quality time alone, and in her Animagus form, because now she's not any more so eager to take always into account the thoughts and feelings of others, forgetting her own on the way. The conversation in DD's office was very well done, and very enlightening. I am very much looking forward to the next chap to see what's your definition of frank discussions. |

| The idea that freely-given unicorn blood isn't cursed is so prevalent in fanfiction that I forgot in this story it wasn't generally known. That being the case, people's reactions make a little more sense. "I'm sure Severus didn't mean you any lasting harm, Hermione . . ." Sheesh - Albus is sure being blase - it almost sounds as if it would be OK if Severus meant her temporary harm, just not "lasting." I am still puzzled by Draco's growl and possessiveness. After his rescue from the werewolves, Hermione went to his hospital room, lectured Draco on Harry's interest in him, and cured Draco's lycopanthry, thus removing his main objection to pursuing Harry. Draco also knows that Harry and Hermione could have easily solved the Pure Adult problem by having sex with each other, but they didn't! Hermione has repeated multiple times that she and Harry aren't interested in each other, so why the sudden possessiveness on Draco's part?The growl seems odd and out of place. This chapter had a lot of explanations between characters (good!), but it seems as if a lot more are needed. Looking forward to the next chapter! |

| Mmm, I must admit that I find that Hermione blames herself too much for some things when it comes to Severus, and the idea that he would have thought that she would torture him is fairly absurd. BUT, I do think it works in the way you've built up to this. You have done a beautiful job of subtly reminding us of the kind of effect the life Severus leads can have on one's thinking. And in Hermione's case, I myself have experienced how one can start excepting a certain kind of guilt if somebody keeps insisting that you deserve it (my mom and I had a bad stretch). Nice work on the whole. I don't think I've reviewed until now...I tend to lurk...but I've been avidly following the story with a lot of enjoyment! Thanks for your hard work! |

| Perfect chapter. I'm reading too fast to let you know how much I'm enjoying each installment, but that was just perfect. Sexy and awful and frustrating. My stomach's in knots over these two idiots, but I'm betting you'll take care of them eventually.

| Interesting chapter, looking forward to the next one and the conversations. Glad we got a bit more of the I'm-not-biting-your-head-off Snape, but I definitely hope that he turns into a slightly more admirable character before the end. As much as I love the plot, I continue to struggle with Hermione's acceptance of his nastiness. While I absolutely believe she would save him, I don't know how I feel about her mooning over him constantly when he is repeatedly cruel. This said, I'm still loving the complications and implications of the plot and I'm eager to read the next installment. |

| I would have reviewed when I read but I think my head hit the pillow with the last word! =) I'm glad you put in the meeting. It helped clarify all this is going on - who knows what, ect - and got some feelings aired out. I'm not sure why you had Draco being a bint for a second. He has always been understanding, you've put in that they have a very affectionate relationship and he knows Hermione wants Severus. It just didn't see to further anything, kind of out of place. And if this a H/D story from Hermione's pov of a HGSS story? lol You have to remember, not only do we have to wait because this story is a beast, we also have 7 days in between each long chapter. Perhaps when it is all together and we can read it in one sitting it won't seem so tedious so, as another reviewer stated, through me a frikkin bone here! ^^ As always, thanks for the post and enjoy your vacay! |
