| All I can do now is picture Snape as a 10 year old chasing Hermione to pull her pigtails. That man just constantly manages to find a new low to sink to, how on earth do you find inspiration to write these moments of his? Author's Response: LOL I think his emotional maturity can indeed be very low sometimes (because, let's face it, grudge-holding from school days--though I fully allow the event was extremely traumatic--to the point of screaming down your students and trying to get someone's soul sucked out when someone else is pointing out quite reasonably that there might be a mistake is not very mature). So really, I think I'm inspired by canon and my own twisted little brain. ;) Thanks for leaving another review. ^_^ | |||

| I'm always in awe of writers who can make me feel things along with their characters. I tend to be too analytical in my writing to really get the knack of it while writing non-poetic prose, but there you have it. This time, you got me crying. I'm so mad at Severus for being such an arse, and I just love Harry and Draco. I love that he hasn't become perfect and infallible since he's befriended Harry and Hermione. I also love that Tonks was so oblivious to the evidence of the previous night's events. You're a very talented author. I'm quite pleased I decided to give this story a shot. (Notice how it always comes back to me?) Author's Response: I'm delighted that I was able to inspire such an emotional response and that you're engaging so much with the characters. It's lovely to hear that you think I've got talent, and I'm glad, too, that you gave my fic a shot. | Oh, how I wish this story had an endless supply of unread chapters. Great continuation. I was very happy for Harry and Draco- and I love how Harry reacted when he found out about Hermione. That was so sweet. I'm glad the two made up though, and it was perfect how Draco took up the cause of throwing comments at Severus. The ending of this chapter though- is that Severus!? I'm thinking it is, and if so... ugh! Surprise attack... and the fact that he threw that unforgivable, was, for lack of a better word, completely unforgivable!! It's so upsetting to know, like Hermione said, that he not only threw her out of his rooms, but also threw such a serious curse at her, all in the same day. And he never apologized. He has some serious grovelling coming to him. A rather large apology is owed to Hermione for his actions. I understand that he was hurt too, but still!! Once again, an amazingly wonderful chapter, making me wish it went on forever. I can't wait till next Thursday! This story makes my week go by much better, can't wait for more! :) Author's Response: My mother wishes the same thing--and I told her that I wouldn't give the complete one to her, either. (Which will hopefully make you feel better or at least leave you knowing that you're in good company. ;) ) I'm glad that you found this chapter continued smoothly from the last one and that you like how it's progressing with Harry and Draco (especially with the added "Hermione" dynamic). You'll have to read the next chapter to find out who is responsible for the attack on Hermione. It *is* the day after for Severus as well as Hermione, and he is definitely not at his most rational. Trying to get him to apologize at at time like this would be like trying to get Voldemort to kiss a Muggle baby. I'm delighted that you enjoyed the chapter. Eventually, it will all be posted, and you can read at your leisure (though that's still a while away, of course). | Wow...... That was big and long sigh ( ;) ). Wonderful chapter. After your response I started to read again chapter 24, and what you explained started to make sense ...(hehehe, as a excellent writer you trigger lot of emotions in readers and you get these excited reviews at first hand.) Besides your chapters, I also enjoy reading the reviews ( there are some very intelligent ones) and your responses. Anyway back to the point, I love description of layers in Restricted Sections, and also Hermione's interactions with them. I love also Hermione's line to Severus after attacking. I liked her dark humor about people throwing Crucios on her. :)I guess somebody put a note on Hermione's back " Crucio me! ".... I can't wait another Tuesday. Please update soon! Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter and that you had the chance to reread chapter 24 and see what you made of it the second time. I'm greedy, you know, and want both those emotional responses and the analytical ones so that I know how all the parts of my writing are being responded to. The fic is long enough that I need to have lots of plot threads to keep it going (or there are lots of plot threads and that's why the fic is so long, I suppose ;) ).
