I Love You! You have really out done yourself this week. We got not only one fabulous chapter but two. I loved reading as Bill tried to take apart her wards. You are a genius! Please Please Please keep up the good work and I definately won't turn down the chance to read an extra chapter once in a while. I wonder who's door she is at Severus or Viktor's? I am completely addicted and just love me weekly fix. Keep up the good work!

Author's Response: *hugs tkdalton* I love you, too, LOL. I'm delighted that you enjoyed the chapters so much and Bill and the wards in particular. (Sadly, the bonus chapters won't be that frequent.) You will soon get to see whose door Hermione is at. ;) Thanks for taking the time to review again. ^_^

Three! Three chapters! I am on Cloud 9 I tell you! THREE! *happy dance* Severus is the biggest prat ever-- but Crucio? Really? I can understand him being PO'd but I can't imagine him tossing it around vindictively-- well, I can, but not at at a student, even if he has canoodoodled with her a bit. Maybe at Harry, but any other student? Hermione? Not so much. Otherwise I'm floating, absolutely floating through the chapters. And I'm quite excited to see how snotty Severus can get with Viktor hanging around --"death glares" at the students, I bet! I also loved the note Hermione sent Viktor. Thank you for including the scenes with the Werewolves project, I don't think I could've stood a short paragraph: "she spent the night, they were locked up, she came back" etc. for an explanation. I'm very much looking forward to the next couple chapters-- time enough for the inter-personal moodiness to boil up and over. Y'know, for someone who hates hormonal teenagers so much, Hermione seems rather embroiled in serious teenage angst-- but it makes the story so enjoyable! I loved reading multiple chapters so much I think I'll hold back next week and wait for a two-chapter build-up. I swear, this story is like chocolate, or a really good meal at a restaurant-- you can't go every* week, you need to space it out. Muchas Gracias for your wonderful attention to the characters! I'd love to see more Severus-Hermione interaction, somehow I doubt Hermione is going to go see Sevvie in the next chapter. Although, that *would* satisfy my craving for yet more SS/HG tension. But y'know what? I'll have two chapters in as many weeks, so I'll find out then! Thanks again! Lovely job!

Author's Response: LOL I'm delighted that you're both on Cloud Nine and still analysing and figuring out if things work for you. I'm not sure that the Cruciatus can be tossed around anything *but* vindictively, but without getting too much into Severus's motivations (which I try not to do because we're in Hermione's POV all the time), I would hope you consider the following: Severus didn't cast the Unforgivable out of the blue or the day before or even at the beginning of the training session. He's just woken up to a great deal more power (imagine waking up and being twice as strong as you were before; you're going to miscalculate), Severus rarely reacts well to strong emotional stimuli, and now they're in the middle of a training session where the goal is to down your opponent (though one likes to hope, of course, that causing them a lot of pain is *not* usually also a goal). Severus *did* become a Death Eater, which is not to say that I think he's like most other Death Eaters but that he does have that aspect of his personality and reactions that might not be the ones that non-Death Eaters would think of as instinctively as he would. It's lovely to hear that you thought the time at the safe-house was well-spent; it's very important to Hermione so I've tried to make it important to the reader, too. As far as the hormonal teenagers go, it's different when it's you. ;) More Hermione/Severus interaction *will* be occurring (though I probably wouldn't recommend laying bets as to when ;) ). Thanks for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. ^_^

On the rennervate subject... that would be your luck as being a validated author. The rest of us would have to change that. Enjoyed the chapter but I can't wait for next Thursday!

Author's Response: That is indeed a handy perk, though I like to hope that the admins would let anyone cling to original canon if they had a strong feeling on a matter like that. Glad you're looking forward to what's coming up next. Thanks for taking the time to review again. ^_^

I was very very happy when I had two chapters waiting for me when i came back from my little mini break. They are both really amazing- I love the fact that there is yet another character to play with - Victor. I can't wait to see how it all develops and i eagerly await next Thursday. Thank you so much for the extra chapter as well- it's so nice to finish one chapter and then there's a whole other one still waiting to be read :) ...

Author's Response: I'm happy that you're happy. :D Viktor was fun to write, and I'm glad you're looking forward to what's coming up next. I hope you enjoyed your mini-break. Thanks for taking the time to review again. ^_^

I'm in the middle of reading reviews from previous chapters and I have a comment about the "Mary Sue" Hermione comment. Maybe someone has said this further on, but I'm going to say it while I'm thinking of it. Hermione, in my mind, in addition to being extraordinarily intelligent, is still a young enough witch to be an idealist and to not be afraid to try things. Like her cure for lycanthropy...if she had talked out her ideas before her "project", she may have just debated the possibilities with a professor then moved on, but Hermione doesn't seem to be the type of person who will tell herself that something cannot be done. Hermione personifies (as well as a fictional character can) all of the pithy quotes about success being a result of a small amount of intelligence paired with an enormous amount of hard work. What she doesn't know, she learns, and she's willing to put the work into anything she finds worthwhile. Quintessential Hermione.

Author's Response: It's lovely to see that you're reading the reviews and engaging with them in addition to the fic (because that's such an interesting component of fic-reading); I believe in my Hermione (obviously), but it's always very encouraging to see readers who understand what I've done with her and believe in her, too. As you say, to me quintessential Hermione is the one who doesn't tend to take no for an answer but sets out to learn everything she needs to know for whatever task she sets herself. Thanks for taking the time to review again. ^_^

Bliss, bliss, bliss...this story is amazing. I started reading about three weeks ago, left town for a couple of weeks, and am caught up and making time to review. (I've never done so before for anyone...will do better in future.) Also, I've never, NEVER intentionally read an incomplete story until now. I honestly didn't even start reading the Harry Potter books until Deathly Hallows came out. Not being a TV watcher, it's a new experience for me...living for Thursdays... In any case, I am thoroughly enjoying the story. It's by far the best read I've had in a long time. I read a ton, and everything starts to sound the same after a while. Your story has great plots, intriguing character development and nice little surprises throughout. It is clearly a labor of love. Thank you for sharing. - Kari

Author's Response: Thank you very much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review; I'm delighted that I've inspired you to review (and I hope you do indeed do better in the future only because I know how wonderful it is as an author to get a review from a reader—I got much better as a reviewer once I started posting my own fic ;) ). I appreciate your WIP pain since I almost never read them, either, but I'm happy that you're along for the ride, and I hope that Thursdays live up to your expectations. It's great to hear you're enjoying the story so much. Thanks again. ^_^

You write some of the best, intriguing, heart wrenching stories. This is wonderful; although, I am wondering when things between her and Severus will start to resolve.

Author's Response: I'm delighted that you find it so; you'll have to read on to find out about any resolution possibilities, as I won't spoil you by telling you if/when it's coming. Thanks for taking the time to review again. ^_^

I just wanted to let you know that I am very intrigued by this story. I've read it pretty much straight through and am wondering..... Did you rule out the idea that Severus was in bed all the time Hermione was with him? Could he have been called? It's something that's been playing in my mind for a chapter or two now... I don't remember just when it appeared, but something you mentioned recentlymade me get to thinking about that. Wonderful story - I look forward to more - you've got another addicted reader.

Author's Response: That's the first time that I've actually heard that theory (very interesting notion), and I'm pleased that you're theorizing so much. Since it doesn't ever come up in fic, I will confess now, however, that no, he was not Called. I'm glad that you're enjoying the fic, and thanks for taking the time to review. ^_^
