Author's Response: Yes, the Pensieve idea is a good one, but it could backfire and Mr. Nettleton could get off on watching his wife get shagged by strange men.

Ron is an example of how nice men can turn into jerks in a less that ideal marriage. Sometimes the situation turns where neither is happy, but not willing to call it quits. They will continue living in the current arrangement.

Since I've only been *in* love once - and married him - I've never been in a relationship where is turned so pathetic and desperate. I would have called it off long ago, but some people feel they do all they can to keep it going. I've witnessed this despreation before, but never have engaged in it. I'm glad I'm capturing some realism to that which I've never experienced myself.
