You're making assumptions on circumstantial evidence, my dear. Draco and Severus may say that Ron is cheating on Hermione, but that doesn't prove anything. | Well, now that I am back, I can catch up. . . Another great chapter. But, why do your fics make me crave chocolate? (I had to stop reading and go make brownies.) Subliminal messages? chocolate, Chocolate, CHOCOLATE! LOL. Author's Response: What...just because consuming large quantities of chocolate can give the same high as post-coital bliss is no reason to assume I'm pushing chocolate. Though I have never eaten so much chocolate that it could even compare to sex anyway, so I'm only guessing. | |||

| am i the only one who thinks ron's having an affair with, not lavender, but a certain shifty-eyed barmaid? i see the points made about ron/lavender, but... i think lavender has a thing for one of her gigolos (not severus). i guess we'll see soon enough.

| I can only agree with Siren – damn, you are good! You are so very profound in the development of your charas (I think you love each and every of them), covering all the possible emotions which one can imagine them to have and therefore explaining the progressions in detail – it´s really amazing how x-dimensional you write them. I always wondered why Ginny was so vehement that Hermione should rescue her marriage with Ron although she for herself claims the right to leave Harry – now that´s also cleared. How will Ginny´s « blessing » change Severus´ attitude on Hermione? Will this give him some confidence? Author's Response: Why, thank you! Yes, I thought I would make an effort into showing character motivation in this fic instead of the usual - oh, I'm a good little witch, now I'm a wanton whore - leap in behavior. I wanted some believable transition from point A to point B in the story, and that requires to show WHY a character behaves the way they do and what causes a change in them. Ginny has her own issues as to why she wants to see Ron and Hermione together. They always seemed like the inevitable couple who would always be together, so it saddened Ginny to see it fall apart. She loves both Ron and Hermione wants them both to be happy, but the writing is on the wall that Hermione is just as miserbale as Ginny is in her own marriage. Ginny's attitude is proof to Severus that the world will not collapse upon itself if he does fall in love and that it is only normal and he is normal too. | |||

| I resent the fact that everyone is altering their perceptions of Snape, just as Dumbledore maybe wrong so may Harry. Snape might have planned this with Dumbledore as he did not look suprised, and the opening scene was a clue. Author's Response: I'm not altering my perception of Snape, it's just that new canon and insight into Severus' past and actions has thrown my fic into an AU plot situation. I agree with your assesment of the agreement, but that doesn't change the fact that my fic is now slightly non-canon. | |||

| What wasn't said, spoke louder than what was...thanks for the update. Curious, the AU qualifier in your notes...I may just be my interpretation, but if any Hermione/Severus story can hold up to HBP this one can...ya know. Author's Response: What wasn't said spoke louder than words? Between whom? Severus and Ginny or Severus and Lavender? Yes, based on HBP this could still be interpreted as canon, but it has already been established in my fic that the DEs came into the castle through passage ways marked on the Maurader's Map...not that odd little piece of furniture located you know where (Ashwinder is still in anti-HBP spoiler mode). | |||

Been a bit behind in my reading so I I'm reeling from four chapters of exceptional story-telling. B R A V O ! ! ! Of course Ron is having an affair. I've known that for well over twenty chapters now.
