| What I enjoyed most about this half chapter: how he storkes her hand when they first sit, the hints about identity, the descriptions of flavors and aromas that seem to make all the sensuous details tangible, how believable it seems when they lose and regain control over their emotions. The paragraph about 'season of death;' that hits pretty close to home. Author's Response: I was hoping someone reading would know what I was talking about regarding "a season of death." Sorry to hear about it hitting close to home. I've been going to more funerals and hearing about more deaths than weddings and births lately. Glad you enjoyed this first half so much and all the little details I included. | |||

| The tension just wafted off the screen! She is so mired in denial. Poor Hermione. I really hpe she doesn't flip when she finds out that it's Snape. But that's wishful thinking, non?
I'm hoping the statement on romantic languages is truee so I don't have to plough through Italian the way I'm doing with (basic, very, very basic) French.

Author's Response: Yes, Hermione is pretty thick when it comes to this one bit of reality. She doesn't want her fantasy to end, she doesn't want to wake from her dream. | Wow. Both of these two chapters are unbelievably hot. I wonder if Hermione is going to begin to accept the possibility that Calleo is indeed Snape, or if she's going to continue to push that idea out of her mind. But she's made the connection now, so I'm hopeful. I believe I remember him thinking that if he was going to tell Hermione who he really is, if she decides that she wants to go to bed with him. Will he still do so, or put his desires ahead of prudence? If she's so mulishly denying that Calleo could be Snape, then there's a chance that she's run away screaming if he does tell her the truth. Okay, was the food Indian? You never said. Anyhoo, these were two magnificent chapters, as you very well know, Betz! Thanks for updating! Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad to have gotten you hot under the collar. You'll have to wait and see how Hermione handles the realization that she's been dry-humping her old professor who is old enough to be her father. You are correct. Snape will reveal himself before he fucks Hermione. He will come clean, if she doesn't realize who he is and confronts him first. The food was Morocccan, as stated near the begining of part 2. | |||

Author's Response: No, I'm not trying to kill you, I'm trying to make you squirm with sexual tension and anticipation. My 1st beta has chapter 38 - and I'm bringing in a new third beta, so I don't know how fast she works. Hopefully I'll have chapter 38 up by next weekend - I hope. | |||
