| Yay! Thanks for the update. And even more importantly, congratulations on your mother-in-law being in remission. As for the chapter. Part I of this chapter was so beautiful in the way it conveyed the love and emotional connection between them. The bittersweetness of them finding love and yet knowing that because of the political situation it can only be temporary was written so well -- truly touching without being too much pathos or saccharine. I also appreciated the way Hermione realized it would be better for Severus to leave, and Severus realized that if he stayed for Hermione he may some day resent her. None of the "oh we're in love, so all of the other problems of the world are inconsequential" stuff ; these characters are rooted in a real world, Loved part 2 of the chapter too. And what a plot twist at the end. However, I disagree with the other reviewers that this necessarily means that Ron is gay. He could be bi like Blaise is, or this could be a threesome with Mrs. Nettleton (wasn't her night with Severus Friday, so wouldn't that now be her night with Blaise?). BTW, my current theory on Albus's lemon tree is that it can substitute for fluxweed in Polyjuice Potion. | |||

| Ah! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! So he WAS seeing another wizard? Oh, are you going to have fun writing the next chapter or what??!! So he wants a baby so that his sexuality isn't questioned, eh? And Harry might have been the one to be on watch, but I'm wondering if he saw Ron go up there and then her, and thought her reaction was because of what she saw. That would explain why he didn't go to her and confront her about her storming away in tears. What's it with Weasleys and hookers?? (just kidding) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I do have a question, though. If Hermione is going to be so very rich, could she not have Severus as a kept man if the whole fluxweed thing goes south? Just a possibility. That doesn't really help Draco, unless she keeps him, too. ('servant' has a sort of menial sound to it, Mad Eye shouldn't protest.) | |||
