| I have taken both Spanish and Latin classes and can testify to the fact that they are VERY similar. I, also, have been friends with people who knew French and could understand some of what they said, though not all. Although, I should add that if you knew a great deal more than common slang in English, you'd be able to read Latin fairly well.
Sorry, I couldn't resist adding that in. I'm currently in the middle of reading the full story. So far, you have intrigued me enough to warrant time away from my other beloved hobbies. I do hold hopes that it remains so, as I am really enjoying myself with your story. |
