| I want to take Hermione’s head in my hands. I want to press our foreheads together to have her undivided attention. And then I would tell her in a non condescending tone: my dear you are not comfortable with Ron, you have next to nothing to talk about, you have no common interests, you relationship is sorely lacking sexually and emotionally. MOVE ON! And then I would tell her that I think Snape is sex on legs and to get a move on over there! But that is just me. Thanks for a lovely chapter. Other than the frustration of forever eagerly awaiting the next installment, am thoroughly enjoying your masterful telling of this story!
What can I say about it that does it justice? The characterization stands out--the people are as frustratingly, maddeningly inconsistent and contradictory as people actually are! I adore Hermione and Severus, even when I want to shake some sense into them and give 'em a good talking to...
The anniversary dinner was perfect--you didn't succumb to the cheap cliche of a blow-up row, but showed how a "perfect date" could still be an utter and complete disaster. This beautifully conveyed the irredeemable deadness of their marriage--there's not even enough passion left to bother with a fight. I adore Victor, BTW, and hope he will figure more in this tale; Hermione can really use a gallant and sensitive friend like him right now...
Further, you've managed some of the most purely erotic scenes that I've ever read--our hero and heroine do not even need to touch to cause more uncomfortable-wiggle-in-the-chair moments than any number of XXX-rated PWP...
This is definitely one of those stories that I can't put down and just push through to the end because I HAVE TO know what finally happens--but will feel both satisfied and sad when it finally reaches its conclusion...
And did I mention the evil, EVIL cliffies? You really make me wish I had the self-control to hold off until your story is complete, then read it all in one go! (Sleep? Who needs sleep?) But I don't. *sigh* So all I can do is beg you to please please update soon soon soon, pretty please with Honeydukes chocolate and Fairy Brandy on top! =^..^= Author's Response: Hey, I had this cliffie planned out for months. I just had to write it, my muse demanded it or it would go on strike. I'm thrilled to read that you think my characterizations have an element of realism to them.
