| oh man!! i was so excited about seeing an update. then i realised i had read this already elsewhere. mmrph.. total bummer dude! ;) when will chapter 50 be up??? please say its soon... Author's Response: Well, it's not chapter 50, it's chapter 48. I've split a couple of chapters, that's all, so it's asynchronous. And ch48 is in the queue right now. | |||

| I'm going to go pass out now. Again. Damn it, damn it, damn it! Why -- no, we know why Hermione went there -- how the hell could --- Even days after first reading this chapter, I'm still incensed that she was dumb enough to go there in the first place, and then just leave without any explanation beyond "Not tonight." I'm just worried about what the person in the shadows, and what s/he is going to do about what s/he just witnessed. Confront Snape? Rat on Hermione to Ron? Is Ron cheating on Hermione? If he isn't, I'm a flobberworm. I'm very, very anxious to find out what's going to happen to our heroes now, and if Hermione and Severus will have a snowball's chance in hell of achieving the Happily Ever After that neither of them has found to this point. *Standing ovation* | |||

| I almost squeed when I saw an update, and then ... duh ... I realized that this is the same two-parter I read a few days ago. Go ahead and laugh at me, I am at myself. 'I'll need to think clearly more than ever tonight,' she thought ruefully. I shoulda recognized the foreshadowing when I read this. Nice vocab on Viktor's part, when he described Skeeter. | |||
