Author's Response: Yeah, well, Hermione finally gets invited to a fancy dinner party and she tried to steer it in a direction that was just not going to go. She had certain expectations (and fantasies) and it just wasn't going to happen. It was a bit pretentious of her to expect that because the dresses and robes cost more and the food was fancier, somehow the conversation would change as well. |
