| Poor Severus. He just can't believe someone would actually want to spend time with him when they know his real identity. Just was is Ron up to....this chapter actually solidified an idea I had about him. Poor Hemione...being reject by Ron! :( Update soon. Author's Response: Yes, it's the pessimist in him. You'll see more fo that attitude in chapter 31. And what makes you think Ron is up to anything? Just because he rejected Hermione's touch does not mean anything. He could still be angry with her over her comments about him being a lousy lay...or not. More on the way in a few days. | |||

| Oh my gosh, you are so right on about how girls that age dress. That whole scene where Hermoine doesn't recognize the Muggle World anymore was so funny as to be actually truthful. So maybe I don't think Ron is having an affaire with Lavender anymore... But it still seems like he was fantasizing about someone else the other night in bed. Also, I really like how you're dragging out Hermione's lying to Ginny... and in return, Ginny's lying to Hermione by playing ignorant to the Calleo situation. It's deliciously convoluted! Author's Response: Yes, the low slung hip hugger makes me cringe. I'm old enough to remember how bad they looked like in the 70's and they don't look any better today. Add to the fact that those pants make even the most underweight girl look like she has a fat ass and I think we have a candidate for worst fashion trend of the new millenium. Hermione does not think Ginny would take the news well that she is seeing a gigolo, despite the fact Ginny is seeing one too - though Draco was her almost-boyfriend years ago. From the way Draco and Severus broke the news to Ginny about Hermione's visits, Hermione is right, but Ginny accepts the idea knowing it's Hermione's own way to try and save her marriage. | |||

| I can get ground buffalo and some buffalo cuts at the local Fred Meyer's for a few weeks every autumn--you have to cook it slower than beef, because it's drier, but it's still pretty good. (PETA wouldn't like where I live, either).
Good chapter. Wonder if Ron is feeling guilty because he's doing a little more than dance lessons with Rogina? (perks up) Author's Response: Yes, we have ground buffalo available at our local market too, but none of the other cuts. It makes a damn good burger, lower in cholesterol than turkey. What makes you think Ron is feeling guilty? Yes, he could be having a little affair with Rogina, or he could be just having some dance lessons offered by his boss' wife so he's won't make a fool of himself on his anniversary by dancing badly. | |||
