| Finally she came to her senses. And my God, Ron's name calling in a session? That's horrible verbal abuse. And I am so glad Sev and Hermione had that talk. Finally things seem to be moving. Thanks for the wonderful chapter. I had tears in my eyes most of the time LOL. Author's Response: Yes, Hermione is starting to come around. And Ron's name calling was uncalled for. Abuse is abuse, be it physical or emotional. It's good that Hermione and "Calleo" cleared the air onthat matter. I made you cry? Glad I could pull at your heartstrings with this chapter. | |||

| As always, it's a pleasure to read each new chapter, even if it brings yet more tension to the table. Thanks for giving a little info on Sev's wife (finally), and also moving their ... um... relationship forward a notch. How long will it take for her to realize who he is? Two sessions? Three? One? Looking forward to the next chapter. Author's Response: It's time for lots of things to happen with Hermione and Severus' relationship. The ground work is laid down for more to happen...or maybe it'll just stall. We'll have to wait and see. Hermione will have an epiphany soon enough. | |||

| I'm not entirely surprised that the counseling session did not go well; although plenty of other things surprised me in this chapter. Snape's violent reaction to Lavender's memories for one, his dream (which was played perfectly, I might add) and then his decision not to show Hermione who he is. Of course, I knew that it probably wasn't going to happen this chapter, but I thought he might be willing to risk it after Hermione's confession. I'm glad that Hermione's gotten over her hypocrite phase and can now see what Ginny does. Of course, with her sentiment about Draco, I can't wait to see what her reaction to Snape will be. Lovely couple of chapters; I thought that 34 was wonderfully written even if the subject matter was horrible, very nice job there. Author's Response: Yeah, Ron is pretty resentful about being dragged to counseling sessions. Snape's reaction is perfectly natural if you think about it. He was expecting to find out when Lav discoered when he was a spy and member of the Order, not get a trip down memory lane of the rape of Parvati and his own near death experience. Adrenaline can do some very serious thins to one's stomach if one gets upset enough. It's that whole fight/flight/fuck/puke reaction thing (the sympathetic nervous system going into overdrive and all). Snape was tempted to let Hermione truly know who he was, but he knows it would be beter for her to come to the realizastion herself instead of being slapped in the face with the sudden reality of it all. Yeah, it's about time Hermione stopped criticizing Ginny's choice to continue seeing Draco. Hermione has set herself high upon her moral high horse and had to finally EMPATHIZE with Ginny before she realized the futility of it all. Thanks, I tried to keep it as minimal as possible, but still impart the shock horror that cause Lavender to almost kill Severus. | |||

| It was a nice treat to get two chapters in one day! Thanks. I loved the swooning that Hermione did at Calleo's. He needs to drop that mask soon. It's driving me nuts! Author's Response: Chapter 34 & 35 were originally one chapter, but I decided when I started writing chapter 34 that I would segregate it from the rest of the Pensieve memories so that those who wanted to skip the rape of Parvati could. I know there are some out there who would prefer to skip such things. | |||

| Ahhhh! Here's the chapter! :-) Wonderful chapter! I want to know more about Gabrielle! Wow, and Lavender almost killed Severus...that must've been really hard for her to admit to him. But he can't blame her. *sigh* The bit with Severus and Hermione...it was soooo domestic and 'real'. I liked the way that it played out. Then to have him consider blowing off the whole charade then and there...shows the level that he trusts her. It's also about time that Hermione understands Ginny's predicament. It's too bad that she doesn't feel like she can confide in her, though. Ginny would be shocked at first, I'm sure, but she would be way more supportive than Hermione ever was to her. The two women would bond incredibly well and I wouldn't be worried about Hermione being suicidal anymore! LOL! (Fine, she's not suicidal now, but there have been points where she's been pretty damned depressed....) There is so much more, but I can't really think of anything specific. I really want the next date night when she's blindfolded! :-) Thanks, Betz! ~Ginny Author's Response: Gabrielle, the elusive ingredient of Severus' past. Yep, Lavender almost snuffed our dear Potions master. She didn't really admit it to him, but she did agree to show him how he found out - and included the scene in the Rookwood dungeons to explain her actions when he viewed her Pensieve. Yes, falling asleep in each other''s arms seemed such an innocently intimate thing to do. Severus trusts her, but he also knows she's going to have a minor shitfit when she realizes who he really is. He would rather let her some to that realization by herself instead of suddenly faced with it. Yeah, it's about time Hermione finally sympathized with Hermione. But considering she has always put herself on top of her moral high horse for so long, she had to finally EMPATHIZE with Ginny before she stopped condemning her. In time Hermione and GInny will open up and talk openly - with no more secrets. It will cheer and Ginny up to finally be able to confide to each oterh about the situation. Ginny has Draco and Severus, they they are in on the lie and not a woman. Sometimes a girl needs to comiserate with her chick friends. The blindfold date is coming up in chapter 37. | |||
