| So sorry to hear you were ill. I hope you are improving. No matter what else you do to heal fluids and lots of rest are necessary. Don't push yourself too hard trying to get out chapters if it is at the cost of your recovery. By the way, amazing chapter. The newspaper trash article made my blood boil. I am glad Luna helped to get an unbiased version of the story out to try to counter the liable that was printed in the prophet. Author's Response: It was great fun writing that yellow journalism piece, so I'm glad it got the response I was hoping for of being insulting and infuriating. Luna is the best, which is why we love her so much. I am getting better: Vick Vaporub on chest & back, hot steamy showers, liquids, cough drops (which really do the trick to help with the coughing), resting as best as I can. I am getting better, and the crap is gone out of my lung, but I still have this lingering violent cough (which is getting better). | |||

I Am so sorry that you feel that crappy - have you tried Vicks Tussin for chest and cough? It tastes dreadful but it seems to do the trick if your still going for over the counter- however I have to say a trip to emerg, care ( ICC) would be better you sound like you need some antibiotics.

Oh, I have been using the whole OTC pharmacy: Guaifenesin & Dextromethorphan (Mucus relief DM cough brands), VIcks Vaporub on chest, hot showers, hot tea, inhaling steam with tea tree oil, Nyquil, etc. I am getting better. But I would love to get some pharmaceutical grade cough suppressant. The problem with antibiotics is, it doesn't do shit if this is a viral infection, only good for bacterial. | |||

| Yikes! Before bed Put Vicks vapor rub on your feet then fat socks. I put it under my nose, on my chest and on my back, then put a tshirt on. My husband swears on hot toddys but they put me in a coma wherein I fall asleep and don't wake til the next day. Hope you feel better soon. Author's Response: Oh, I've been using the Vicks, trust me: chest, back and under the nose, plus lots of hot steamy showers, heating pad on back, hot liquids, lots of Nyquil, though the Nyqil has done shit to suppress coughing at night, so been sleeping propped upright on the couch and little sleep past week. Just so fucking exhausted. And my rib ache from so much intense hacking. Tempted to go to urgent care and beg for some codeine since that's a very effective cough suppressant, since nothing else is working like usual. | |||

| At least Severus and Hermione had that lovely time together to keep them warm during the upcoming nightmare. I loved how everyone who ever loved them was there to shield her and help her get home. Its certainly going to get ugly. I wasn't prepared for how ugly you're painting it, but I am soooo excited to see what happens next. | At least Severus and Hermione had their beautiful idyll together. They'll have to hold on to those memories even more tightly in the firestorm that's started. Skeeter and Edgecomb are givens (in the Hermione-resentment department), but I've forgotten why Colin Creevey has an issue with her. Congrats on two good chapters--and now all hell's about to break loose! Author's Response: It was at the beginning of the story where Colin and Hermione were at odds. From chapter 11, "Happy Victory Day", towards the end of the chapter. Quote: "Colin's eyes briefly caught sight of Hermione, who was scowling at him. He averted his eyes quickly, not forgetting the slew of hexes Hermione cast upon him after that rather revealing picture of her was published in the Daily Prophet after her N.E.W.T.s." Remember, it was Colin who took the picture of Hermione dancing topless while singing "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" from her post NEWT bender, and sold it to the Daily Prophet, where Hermione was put "on display" with the little black bars for modesty, of course. | |||

| Thank you for the hugs. A family member passed away yesterday (suddenly but peacefully) and joined her soulmate ( her husband) beyond the veil. I wanted to read something well written and full of true love. I was ecstatic you had a new chapter. ❤ Author's Response: I'm so sorry. My own mom passed away last October, and I know how hard it is to lose family. I'm glad it was peaceful, and that my story could provide some solace to you. *BIGHUGS* | |||
