And the plot thickens... Blaise? Hmm! And those jersey names!!!! I loved them all! Very interesting indeed.

Thank you so much for updating! Good luck with the plot bunnies. I love the converstion in the attic in this chapter. I'm having a hard time with a homophobic Hermione. She's rational and kind usually. He thoughts toward Ron are totally irrational right now.

Firstly: Thank you for the update
I can understand why Hermione is so utterly shocked. But I think she is lying to herself when she says she could stomach it better if Ron would be cheating wih other women. Once she will haver overcome her initial shock she might see advantages in that situation. But the way you described her emotional tumoil was great; I really could feel with her. ~ apisa_b

Thanks for the udpate.

I don't have many specific comments for this chapter as it seems to be mostly a transition chapter. That said, Hermione's ideas for how to change the back of Ron's jersey were quite funny, I'm wondering exactly how much Hermione told Viktor in her letter, and am wondering what the look between Molly and Arthur at the mention of Snape portends. Also, it's interesting how different Hermione's and Severus's mindsets are this chapter. For all the good things happening with Hermione (finally getting together with Snape, the potions apprenticeship), Ron's cheating on her is clearly the uppermost on her mind . For Snape on the otherhand, he is thinking of the potions agreement, finally getting together with Hermione, and how happy she was when he mentioned the apprenticeship. He doesn't seem at all concerned with Hermione's reaction to Ron; it's like he saw she was shocked the night before but doesn't realize just how big a deal it is to her.

Can't wait to see how the meal with H,S,D, and G goes and what Molly wants to discuss with Snape.

I'm really wondering how badly jammed up Hermione may be from talking prematurely about her future apprenticeship. That sure was a dumb answer to give the twins. We can chalk it up to fatigue and emotional stress but she may have set herself up. Hope not.

I don't understand the requirements for divorce. Does one of the parties have to prove 'fault' before it can be granted? My fuzzy recall of the first 50 chapters doesn't include that. I thought divorce was fairly fast and painless as long as there weren't any kids to make the marriage permanent. But in this chapter she seems to be telling herself that she doesn't have enough proof, like that is an impediment to getting a divorce. She needs to get this done ASAP imho. Can you clarify the requirements, please?

I'm so tickled you updated this story. It's one of my very favorites. ~casey

Great chapter! I do think that Hermione is coming off as a bit homophobic, but I suspect it's just the tremendous shock and betrayal she feels coming through. Still, why would it be better to be replaced by another woman? At least Blaise gives Ron an experience that she never could. If the other lover was, for example, Lavender (that was my guess), then I could see how it would be even more of an affront. Just my thoughts...
