| Yay! I'm so happy to see that you haven't abandoned this story. The whole time I was reading HBP, I couldn't help but wonder what was going to become of my favorite works in progress. (This being one of them of course!) A couple of things....I'm glad that Ginny's eyes are open to the very real possibility that her brother is cheating on Hermione. I'm also glad to see how much Ginny cares for both Hermione and Severus. He needs all the friends he can get. I can't help but be a little suspicious of Lavender. The past couple of chapters I've been assuming that she's the one that Ron is cheating with. However, I liked someone else's suggestion that it might be Harry. That would be an interesting switch. I'm looking forward to the next chapter despite the difficult subject matter. I have a feeling that when all is said and done we'll have a hard time hating Lav even if she is cheating with Ron or Harry. Multi-dimensional characters are good. Update soon! Author's Response: As I kept reading HBP, I kept on laughing when Rowling came out with new canon to support my interpretation of Ron in my fic. Nasty fucker to Hermione at times. Then I read that infamous part and screamed, "NOOOOOoooo!" I have decided to ignore all HBP canon - even the bits that would fit really well into my fic - or I'll go crazy and never finish this fic. Ginny cares deeply for Hermione and Severus. Ginny is one of the few people who treats Severus like another human being instead of some scary, abrasive curmudgeon. We don't know who Lavender is banging...but there could be more clues coming up soon...or not. | |||

| Hmmm....why do I have the feeling Ron's having an affair with someone Severus knows fairly well...maybe an employer?? ^_~ Hmmm.....I wonder.
Anyway, this is a great fic! Can't wait for the next chapter! ^_^

| thank god they finally got it out about his cheating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its soo that hoe lavender. thats why shes sooo nice gah!!!! ive known since severus heard grunts, but what does the callous have to do with it? Author's Response: Well, Draco and Severus are merely outside observers who are making leaps with logic. It still doesn't prove anything. The callouses on the hand refer to the fact that Ron is wanking himself so much, he could have blisters on his palm, as he's not banging Hermione. They don't know who Ron is fucking around with (if he's even fucking around at all). Severus is just making a comment that if he's not fucking around, he's either impotent or is masturbating A LOT! | |||

| That was great! I loved the eye-opener on Ginny, and it's good to see Severus being open about Hermione and what he can accept on his feelings. Great job :) now I'm almost scared to learn what's in Lavender's pensieve. I hope there will be fast updates like before HBP. hint, hint. ;-) Author's Response: Yes, Ginny does care for Hermione and is worried about her after they leave. Severus can only deal with so much denial and though he's a damn good spy, it's hard to hide love. You should be scared about what's in Lavender's Pensieve. It's not pretty. I wish I could update as fast as I did before HBP, but I think I can maybe keep up my updates to once a week. | |||

| Wow! This chapter is a gem. There's light at the end of the tunnel for Hermione, perhaps, and poor Ginny coming to the realization that Ron and Hermione don't have a good marriage. Ginny's gesture to Severus was very encouraging. Well done, as always, Betz! Author's Response: Glad you like this chapter so much. Yes, there is uch potential with the action in this chapter. I liked GInny's little kiss - she's one of the few who treats Severus as a human being and not with wariness and aversion. | |||

| Excellent story, as usual. I'm always happy to see your updates.
As for the story, It's a relief to know that Ginny actually cares about Hermione as much as Hermione seems to care about her. We don't always get to see Ginny's motives, but this endears her to me much. (and see, even Severus and Draco think Ron is cheating!! *big wink*) I also get the feeling that Lavender is going to be on the recieving end of some sympathy by the next chap. I will confess, I wish Harry was the one Lavender was spending time with. I think she and he would have matching emotinal needs and be a good pair. (does that make me a fictional home-wrecker? lol) Yikes!! Severus and the potion that makes you raw!! Especially in THAT area??? Well, I'm sure if you give him some Hermione action, he'll forgive you!!

Yes, Ginny does tend to get glossed over a bit and I would love to include a lot more of the Draco/Ginny story, but that would almost double this fic. I may still do the Draco/Ginny story of this fic, though it is now AU. You are correct in your assumption about Lav and sympathy. It'll get pretty intense in ch35...or I'd like to think it's intense - hope you do too. The potion didn't make Severus raw...fucking Miss Anne till he was sore is what made him raw. Ever fuck till the guy didn't want to get hard? It's actually pretty funny as they fight an erection. Hermione/Severus action coming up in ch37. | |||

| Wonderful chapter, as usual. I was afraid that when HBP was released and most almost all of our little happy plots and cliches in the world of SS/HG were beaten the smitherines, the authors of my favorite stories would decide to not press on... Imagine my surprise and glee when I saw that you had updated! Thank you, from the bottom of a tired, boggled, hard-working waitress/University student's heart. I'd also like to say how much I enjoyed this chapter, but became thoroughly frustrated with your nasty little cliff. I was expecting some nice Severus/Hermione time, but alas... I must wait. I'm very curious to find out if Ron has been cheating... I'm hoping he hasn't, but maybe that's, once again, my Irish/Catholic subconscience (that sounds oddly like my grandmother with her rough slurs) speaking for me. The bad-girl assimilist wants so much for our poor Hermione to toss everything into the wind and scew the consequences (literally). If anything, the anticipation only makes the prize much sweeter. | You are doing it deliberatly arnt you... you are such a tease! Is this fic ever going to stop! You are going to hit the 50 chapters mark, i just know it :)
I just love it, all the guess work about whats REALLY going on.. but I wont bore you with it because I am sure its all anyone will talk about hehe.
Author's Response: I did mention before that I am shooting for anticipation with my answer to my own challenge. I will certainly hit the 50 chapter mark and may reach 300,000 words too. Chapter 34 doesn't count is it's a very, very short chapter. You'll see. | |||
