| What a wonderful way to force Hermione to see what has been right in front of her for so long. Mrs. Weasley's pretty sly, isn't she? Not all sweetness and light, and I must say that I can see Mrs. Weasley twistings things to her liking by omitting details like that. All right, so now Hermione knows, I can't wait for the next chapter! I'm sure we'll get a confrontation between Hermione and Severus (we will, won't we?). It's going to be very interesting because Hermione is still able to separate the two figures in her mind. I'm not so sure she'll be able to once she sees Severus sans mask. Absolutely wonderful chapter, and I cannot wait for the next one. Author's Response: A wonderful way to learn the man she's been lusting after is the greasy git? Interesting choice of words. But Hermione has to face the truth now. Mrs. Weasley in canon is seen through the eyes of Harry, a neglected boy who has known nothing but neglect and has been giving the mothering love he has been denied in his youth. This story takes a more overall look at many of the characters, including seeing Molly's actions from those affected by her perceptions, ideas and what she think is best. We'll have to wait and see how Hermione handles this new information and how it will affect her interation with Severus. | |||

| I love how this chapter was so...revealing! I can't wait till you update again. I love how Hermione has finally realised her life is shit with Ron in it. I hope she listens to Ginny about love even though she now knows Calleo is Snape......... Author's Response: Yes, it was very illuminating about many things, most notably Snape's identity, Molly's actions/inactions, and how kids make a marriage like an Unbreakable Vow. We'll see how Hermione deals with all the information she dealt with -- good and bad -- in the future. | |||

| Gosh. Well... just gosh. Methinks she thinks too much, and doesn't feel enough. I'm assuming this is the end of part one? Well done, very well done. I hope she's not going to stop seeing Calleo (as if!) and that she'll realize that though identities are not as they seem, the heart might see truer than eyes do. Cause after all, she's gotta shag Snape. Has to, has to, has to! Sigh... Well, good job. Hope you've got the next few chapters in queue. Author's Response: Hermione is a woman who has found that her intelligence has served her well, but now her intelligence can't fix her life as it is now. Nope...this is not the end of part one...we're still waiting for a few things to happen before I can say Act I is done. Beta #2 is working on chapter 39, beta #1 is about to get chapter 40 and I'm still writing chapter 41. So we are all working as fast as we can to get more fic to you and all the readers. | |||

| No! No! No! Don't stop there! PLEASE don't stop there! I knew I shouldn't have read this chapter! That's IT! I'm not reading another chapter until the eventual Hermione--Snape confrontation. Whenever that is. ARRGH! I'm so frustrated! What will Hermione do? She's suffering from a nervous break down! Snape and Malfoy need her help to escape the country but what about Kingsley? And Moody has that eye of his, does he know that Hermione was there? Is he onto her? HOW? Who is it that Ron is sleeping with on the side? Was it him or one of the twins in Lovely Lavender's office? Ginny threw a wonderful party (your descriptions are fantastic) but was that really her going-away present to Harry? Please post again soon! Author's Response: Yes, yes, yes, I must stop there. Chapters can only be so long, otherwise I'd be posting 50,000 word chapters. I know. You'd like that, but then updates would be more infrequent, but also harder to beta and get ready for posting. Well, the next Hermione/Severus meeting will be chapter 41. What will Hermione do? Hmmm, tha'ts an interesting question as I'm still writing that chapter. Yes, the poor woman is having a breakdown. Kingsley? What do you mean Kingsley? Moody did nto see Hermione on the other side of the tent because he figured that no one else was around was felt his Silencing Charm was good enough to keep eavesdropers at bay. And he really didn't think anyone would be in that tipi, so he didn't bother to look. Confidence that he was being discrete, when actually he wasn't thorough enough. Moody is not on to her...though he might be in the future. DUM, DE DUM-DUM! Oh! One of the twins sleeping with Lav? That's a theory I haven't heard bantered about yet. Yes, GInny really put on quite a shindig. Yes, you could quite easily assume that this party was a going away present to Harry. She does love Harry, she just doesn't want to be married to him. | |||

| Hot damn, I love this story. I lurve it. I sat down last weekend and read the whole thing. I couldn't stop myself; I think it's the crack.
I was amazed at the way you wrote Hermione's realisation that Calleo was Snape and her ensuing temper tantrum. I've had days like that, and have ended up slapping myself to get ahold of myself. It was very familiar, and I was delightfully uncomfortable.
Ooh, it would be awesome if Hermione went to work in an adult shop--well, bad for Snape and Malfoy, but good for her. My best friend has been considering doing exactly what Lavender and the twins are planning--a classy novelty shop geared to women, married or single.
