| Ahaha, the pic is fab... I was already looking forward to the next chapter with your great writing, and now... gah. It really is a tease. Btw, you do great non-smut smut (ie. the UST oozes from the screen).. and you included little things about how Ron treats Hermione that showcase both his negative and positive traits really well to make me less and then more confused as to how I feel about him, like Hermione does. Your rollercoaster is so much fun.. cheers 'til the next chap! Author's Response: Glad my UST whet your appetite. The two best fics I've ever read for UST are "Falling Further In" by KazVL and "Jewel of the Harem" by Anise on Schnoogle (Draco/Ginny). JotH's UST makes my UST look like absolutely nothing by comparision, so if you really get off on UST, go read the epic JotH (unfornatately, it's a WIP, but it has 19 very long and detailed, action packed, bad Draco with a glimmer of redemption, wonderfully crafted chapters) Ron isn't a bad person/husband, he still cares deeply for Hermione. It's just that he's one of those somewhat oblivious men that plod through life without paying attention at times. | |||

| Hello Betz... Just FYI this little thing slipped past you... So last night Saturday we were in the flat, - I think you meant So last Saturday night we were in the flat,. Well I've been left breathless by this stunning chapter - I must admit, I was trying to place where the Trix question you asked me might come up... I just couldn't figure it... If you keep us on the edge of our seats like this any longer, I just might have to pull in that 'payment' that i've been good on not collecting so far! I might just have to know!! lol Need any more help, let me know... I just love your story... Although, come on... kill Ron off... selfish little bastard! hee hee Piggie Author's Response: I don't think the Trix thing will come into play. Too much of an American in-joke thing to really apply for this fic, though if there is some way I can slip it in someway, I will. Thanks for catching the dyslexic slip. If I do let my dyslexia show, it usually involves switching around whole words and I'll say something like "Gate the shut." Like my custom t-shirt once said "Dyslexics Untie!" So glad you liked this chapter. And sorry, no character death in this fic...well, none *during* the story timeline, just those before the start of this fic. | Great chapter! Soooo close to lemons. Wonder what the clock pointed to for Hermione; must not have been "Considering breaking marriage vows" or Ron wouldn't have been so happy to see her. Of course he's going to want to know where she was. I hope she has a good lie thought up. | |||

| I've just read all 19 chapters, and really enjoyed them, although the two depressing marriages are a bit...erm...depressing. Both Ron & Harry seem to be fundamentally good people, though, so I hope they aren't left hanging and unhappy when the inevitable happens. But you've made a very original story--quite an unusual take on the post-war gigilo premise. And your writing is quite good--though I think you mean "implies" or "suggests" when you say "intones" (= chants monotonously) and "betrays" or "reveals" when you say "belies" (= implies the opposite or contradicts). Looking forward to your next update! | |||
