| This story is fabulous!! Loving all the detail but I want Hermione and Severus back together again.
Love the touch with the scorch marks though. Author's Response: Yeah, it's very symbolic about how she burnt her relationship with her daughter and damaged the family - which is why it's on the family kitchen table - the center of the Weasley family life in most of the books. | |||

| A big mahalo for the Hawaii references. I'm a native. We refer to the roaches as B-52's after the airplanes, because they are so large. Also, the reason we like spam and canned corn beef is world war 2 rations. I've seen 5 gallon buckets of corned beef exchanged between the bride and groom's family at a Samoan wedding. The thought is we don't eat til we are full, we eat until we are too tired to eat more. And anything that doesn't move faster than us is fair game for a meal. It is not unusual to have dishes from different races at a luau. Sushi, Kim chee, adobo and Portuguese sausage and Chinese noodles regularly show up at a pot luck. I've loved this story from the beginning, but love it more for the local stuff you've been adding lately! Author's Response: I was aware of the love of Spam in Hawaii and I have nothing against it, but Severus does. That is funny, the exchanging of 5 gal buckets. And speaking of being so full til bursting, the luau is the next chapter, and reflects all the various backgrounds of the people who have sought sanctuary there. And there will be a lot more wizard & Muggle Hawaiian culture coming up over the next several chapters, as this is Severus' home now. And my beta, JuneW, is from Hawaii too, so she's been fixing up my Hawaiian. | |||

| I was so excited to see the update. Loved every word! There is so much going on. I absolutely cannot wait to see what happens next! Author's Response: Oh, there is a lot that will happen. Still have people to find out Ginny's gone, Draco and Ginny's wedding, other things, and Christmas is coming up soon. Can't wait to share the extra "video" goodie I have for the Christmas chapter: It's cheesy, and hokey and delightful. | |||
