Reviews for And They Didn't Live Happily Ever After

All that grinding is going to get Hermione into trouble. If she turns him down you can send him over to my place to lick sweat off of me because this story is hot. LOL. I was so happy to see 2 chapters posted (thank your betas too). OK, I am off to go find some chocolate and await your next chapter. ~broom

Author's Response: It wasn't two chapters, it was one chapter that was so long, it would not fit within the 11,000 word chapter limit on Ashwinder. I would think chocolate is the worst thing when worked up. I would think a cold shower was more in order. However, if Hermione does nto come to her senses, I have first dibs on Severus. If he has worn me out from testing the latest batch of male enhancement potion, I'll send him over your way.

Long distance overseeas messages. How about terns? They can fly from pole to pole! Oh, and you are the Mistress of Seduction! Very, very tasty!

Author's Response: Terns would work, but I like albatross because of the poem Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner and from Monty Python. "ALBATROSS! ALBA-FUCKING-TROSS!"

Wow, this story is absolutely fantastic!! Thank you so much for writing it. :D I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next; this is superlative. ... Also, on a random note -- the reason it's easy to pick up other languages that have the same base as one you know is because of cognates, those words that sound or look very similar to a word with an identical or similar meaning in another language. E.G.: English "Possible" and Spanish "Posible" and French "Possible" and Italian "Possibile." :) Cognates are wonderful things.

Author's Response: You're welcome. Thank you for your enthusiastic praise. More is on the way. Hope I keep entertaining you with my tale.

How would I feel if I found out that it had been my sarcastic git of a Potions professor I've been lusting after? Berke Breathed invented a phrase for it: "Fatally embarrassed." I'd be so embarrassed, I don't know if I'd be able to go back. But then again, I'm not married to an immature, selfish prat, so my options are quite different from Hermione's.

Re-read this chapter. Again. Third re-read, actually. Sign me up for the ATDLHEA Addicion Group, please.

Author's Response: Embarassed is one of many emotions. Mortified? Another good word. Wanting to crawl down in a deep dark hole never to be seen again? A perfectly reasonable response. You'll just have to wait and see how Hermione deals with it all and if or how she convinces herself to go back. More on the way, just gotta wait for my betas to finish with ch38.

The waiting period was worth it, definitley, pleasssssssse keep on going

Author's Response: Oh, I'm definitely going to keep going. I will finish this little epic for sure. More is on the way. Glad you though this was worth the wait.

I don't think Hermione is going to be that surprised that her gigolo is Snape...I do think she is probably going to overreact and go running away until she comes to her senses and realizes that she loves him. You've done a great job building the tension between them...and I am excited for the next update.

Author's Response: She's going to face the facts soon enough. How would you feel when you finally realized you had been lusting and panting and finger-fucking yourself to fantasies of your old Potions professor who is old enough to be your father AND was cruel to you. How could Calleo and that horrid man be the same person....and she practically threw herself at him....more than once. How would you feel?

The tension is so thick that I doubt my infamous cheese knife could cut through it. So, it's like really hard, but good cheese. No wait, that sounds wierd. But good cheese is a good thing. So good job. :D

Author's Response: That's what cleavers are for. Another cheese fan. If I had to decide between cutting out cheese or chocolate out for the rest of my life, I'd lean towards forgoing chocolate. Thanksfully, I'll never have to come to that decision. So is my fic like Black Diamond cheddar or sapsago cheese? Or is it like Pecorino?

I love this story!!!! I read this chapter a few days ago on aff.net but I wanted to review here because you usually reply here and it makes me feel special. As promised, lots of house points to you and your betas! I wanted to say yay to your betas here too, because I know a good beta can help make or break your story. *standing ovation, yelling BE-TAS, BE-TAS!!!* And as always, Betz, you rock. About this chapter, WOW. The sexual tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife! I hope when Severus finally reveals himself, Hermione doesn't get all self-righteous and blames him for tricking her or something stupid like that. I think deep down, she knows it's him, but she isn't paying attention to her instincts. I'm eagerly anticipating the next chapter, as always!

Author's Response: Anyone who leaves a review of more than just a few words is special in my book. Yes, three cheers for my betas. Betas are the unsung heros of the fanfic world, they keep the literary flotsom and jetsom away. Yeah, UST. I had to get Hermione to a point where she would seriously consider fucking Calleo to make her come to some sort of decision, otherwise she would be stuck in this perpetual limbo of "should I, shouldn't I?" Hermione will realize who Calleo is soon enough and go through all the emotions that one would feel with that sort of shock. You are correct. Hermione is not paying attention to her insitncts, because that would mean her curiosity would also get the better of her. To her, it's better to not know who Calleo is, and if that means ignoring the voices in her head telling her who he is, then she's willing to turn a blind eye to the truth.
