| I just wanted to say that people need to lighten up about the Ron/Hermione marriage in the first chapter. While we, as Severus/Hermione fans, don't ship R/H, a LOT of people do, and the reason a lot of people do is that they have romantic tension in the books. We don't have to ENDORSE it, but it's quite plausible that they WILL end up together, canon-wise, and thus a fic that starts with them married strikes me as a touch of realism. This fic wouldn't be on Ashwinder if there wasn't eventually a Severus/Hermione relationship, so please, people, chill out. I think expecting SS/HG fics with NO Ron presence is silly. I love the pairing, really I do, but I think inserting some of the canon tension/background is quite logical. Moving on.. This seems quite original, I'm looking forward to more! Sorry if I ticked you off by ranting at your readers, I was just a bit irritated at how Ron-phobic people are. Author's Response: Thank you for that acurate view point. No, you didn't tick me off. Most (not all) SS/HG fics portray Ron as a prat, so there is a natural bias against him in this ship. But you are right, this will become a HG/SS fic, but I have to lay the groundwork of the story first. | |||

| Neat start to this. There's nothing like relatives who think no marriage is complete to put a strain on a couple, and if there's already other problems things just esculate. Look forward to seeing if Ginny's really having an affair and what the other rule you broke is. | |||

| Hey, I'm liking the possibilities for this one! Could it be that Hermione is also going to follow in Ginny's footsteps, and get down to some nasty of her own? We can only hope! :) I for one don't want to see her raise a Quidditch team with Ron, and Ginny with Harry neither! This whole thing screams of being needful of Severus' masterful touch, LOL...the Quartet needs some breaking up! Anxious to see who the other wizard might be that could help out in decimating the family values! I know, I know, I have a mean streak...blame it on my start in fanfiction being with the Hannibal Lecter fandom. ;) (And here's a shout to all the Lecterphiles out there who also read SS/HG.) ~HR | |||
