off to the next chapter.... Author's Response: Yep, married too young. And this mirrors what happened after WWII. Lots of young people rushing off to the alter right after war. And that led to a spike in divorces in the subsequent decades too in the real world. | |||

| I assume this story is abandoned. Though you have a note on your author page saying you will submit more chapters to your betas in 2015, it is now September 2015 and no new chapters have appeared. I encourage you to finish this. It is well written and interesting. I rate this 9, for unfinished. Author's Response: Actually, Chapter 51 is with my second beta right now (9/19/2015). On AO3, I am uploading chapter 1-50 a day at a time (since I haven't archived it there until now), while uploading (at the same pace - one a day) reedited chapters 1-50 at the same time here on Ashwinder and on AFF: taking out the odd typo, misspelling, extra comma/space and taking out dead links URLs and providing fresh URL for dead fan art links so people can see the fan art on the Tumblr page I created for showing fan art that goes with this fic. So that fan art for chapter 16, 25, 26, and 31 will be visible again very soon in the coming days: http://atdlhea-betz.tumblr.com As for unfinished, I have actually completed this fic. I started working on chapter 51 again back in January 2014 and wrote the epilogue in July 2015 (Hint, about little less than half the story is posted on line so far). So once chapter 1-50 are uploaded onto AO3, I'm hoping to have a nice buffer of betaed chapters so I can start posting one new chapter a week starting around Halloween (depending on how long my story might sit in in Ashwinder queue before being validated, so that's an approximate date). And once that buffer of betaed chapters is complete, then posting as fast as my betas can keep up. I just haven't posted new chapters yet since I didn't want to post as a WIP and then have to write myself out of a hole again. I wanted to finish it, THEN post it. So, no this story is no longer WIP and never really truly was abandoned, just put down for a very long time due to life getting in the way. | |||

| I started reading this story waay back when and I can't tell you how beyond ecstatic I am that you're working on it again. This is one of my all time favorites and I am so excited that you've come back to it!! Author's Response: Thank you so much! Watch for chapter 51, first new chapter, to be posted around Halloween. | This story is freaking amazing. Gosh, what a blast it has been. I understand you are working onfinishing it and eagerly look forward to when you start posting new chapters. Please post soon.....pretty please......whigning over now. But seriously you are very talented and your characters are wonderfully three dementional. This a truly an favorite of mine! Author's Response: Yes, I am working on it. I am currently working on chapter 107, wrapping up the lull before the final climax for the final Act or season, or however one would describe chopping this story into chunks. But as I've already had to go back and add things in chapters I wrote months prior to fix plot holes and gaps, I will not start sending off to my beats until entirely completed so I don't have to write myself out of a hole that sometimes happens with WIP, posting chapters before the story is complete. Trust me, I am writing as fast as I can.. | |||
